Clockwork Bard
Line by line and writ by writ
Creativity from rotating gears?
Forged thoughts together knit
Man or machine they fear
No such thing as auto masters
Nay no spark from the soul
Sure it writes faster and faster
But my mastery is mine to control
Challenge automaton work
But words here are of flesh and bone
Homunculi writers are stuck with a dirk
Blood flows here as creativity is enthroned
No punch cards or binary brains
To say otherwise is a misguided frame
Where art thou relentless disdain? ...

Dontcha wanna know my pet peeve?
Use it to get back at me
Irritate me just right; ferment my blood into aged wine

Feuer mit Schwertern
Das Feuer tanzt auf blankem Stahl
Ein Funkensprung im finstren Saal
Die Klinge singt, ein Lied so wild
Im Flammenschein wird Blut erfüllt

Raven recruitment, fabled from cupid.
Playing the nooses, mage's amusement.
Greater when moonlit, Satan seduces.
Graven congruence, gauging occlusion.
Ancient entombment, placing seclusion.
Tainted attunement, splaying disunion.
Latent solutions, fateful intrusion.
Anger abuses, angel induces.
Savored collusion, laymen preclusion.
Manger disproving, strangers disputed.

Blessed are the flowers that bloom in your hair
Fed by the warmness from your heart full of care
The moonlight beams down, and your soul shines
The stars are twinkling, and I know this is a sign.
An otherworldly gift has been presented to me
A beautiful expression of heavenly art
This precious gift has set my soul free

Respite Under Arches
O house of splendor, temple divine
With vaults that in gilded radiance shine!
Thy arches soar, as prayers take flight
To pierce the veil of the eternal night
Thy pillars, twelve, as prophets of old
Proclaim the truths in stories told
Each stone a witness, each wall a creed
To Him who hath met our every need
The rose-hued glass, in splendor bright
Transforms the sun to heavenly light
Its beams cascade in hallowed streams
As angels sing of sacred dreams
The sacred font, in marble hewn
Doth whisper of the coming...

One day my parents were about to go out for a drive
Satan appeared and said, "one of you must die"
He performed some witchery with his hands
Said something foreign that my parents didn't understand
That night mother saw something as she undressed
Lucifer's mark was burned upon her breast
The next day father was relaxing in the tub
A creature flew in the window, named Beelzebub

Not just a man with red devil horns

Refuse, Resist
Gov't officials see a bright future ahead
The poor will no longer exist
Drive these people out of their homes
Increase their rent, please try & resist
Isolate them like you once did in Harlem
Ghettos without prison walls
If they revolt, cops smash their heads
Or spray mace into their eyeballs
Breakdown the walls that kept us segregated
No time like the present time
Take out the ruling class
No one in life should get a free pass
The poor will no longer exist

The hoisted loins are poisoned poise.

It's the big Sneeze.
Coughs and snotty sneezes spread diseases
so trap your mucky germs in handkerchiefs,
or put your head in a bag if you please its
gross for you but for us, a jolly wheeze.
Sneezes travel at ten mile per hour
and it's an ill wind which sneezes no good,
so think of someone's Aaachoo germ shower
as time to keep fit and run off like Gump.
The ancients saw sneezes as gifts from gods
like Penelope in the Odyssey,
so we sneeze and folk say " bless you " it's odd
it's more the gods are...
