Excuse me, dear reader
Have you seen this perpetrator?
He was last spotted in an alphabet speeder
On his way to your reading applicator
He’s the head of the letter gang
His bodyguards are A-Z
He stole my poem and now must hang
Nobody rips off team Napo and me
It is very urgent this perp is found
I only have 7 hrs left
Till a strike hits the ground
And he gets away with theft
Put yourself in my shoes
You must write one piece a day

I have lost my sense of rhyme
have you seen it anywhere?
The light bouncing bundle of joy
riding along each vowel
holding happiness in its caress
the bright side
that is footloose and fancy free
on heels of rapture.
I am sure I had it somewhere
around here
last I looked
but I cannot find it for the
looming clouds

Distractions work well
When I’m thinking about what to write
It doesn’t matter where I dwell
My poetry factory is always in flight
My wife is at work
My daughter is in school
My inspirations a total jerk
And I’m still blanking out like some washed-up fool
The silence is lonely
This empty house is quite boring

Second Wind
I’m sweating letters from my pores
Must keep up my pace in these Napo wars
I’ve been through hunger strikes and sores
To brain freezes both in and outdoors
I put meals on wheels on speed dial
My wife’s cooking deserves a trial
Mars and Venus are out of alignment
I can barely continue this assignment
Someone, please force me to stop
Or at least take the reigns and make it a co-op

Knowledge Is Power, Poetry Is Law
I stand before you
The over-seer of all
The coup de gras of what’s true
The answer to every call
I exist beyond the mortal realm
Where time has no speed
Space and gravity will overwhelm
The weakest link with much greed
I have foreseen the distant future
And witnessed much destruction
Heard the cries from the Earth’s stupor
So I come to you with instruction
Lay down your feeble rights
And harken upon my words
Put an end to these pointless fights
Kill off your hatred like mocking birds
Redirect love into your souls ...

I am the mastermind
That is highly sought after
The only one of my kind
Who’s more cunning than an actor
I topple the wanted charts
And am more elusive than Waldo
My pen creates works of fine arts
That can only be described as Bravo!
My craft is immense
With its own viral attitude
Clutching you by the throat in suspense
Superseding its own longitude and latitude
The fire traces from my ink
Glues the blades to my lines
So when its read you’ll need a shrink
To sop up what’s left of your minds
Everybody wants a piece...

These vowels keep throwing up in the sink
I woke up this morning with a bladder of P
And a wicked hangover from my poetry T
My bud was weak and my beer was high
My eyes were red but my tears were dry
My weight was Y not even explained
My dignity X ploded and strained
My train of thought is literally stranded
Chilling on the tracks where U was reprimanded
My writing license is revoked
My homie J just got smoked
My tricky writer’s block eloped
Lucky Charms drove down my throat
My neck is stiff...

Before eyes for me to know I couldn’t see past Your eyelashes kohl,
Angry rains seem to mock me and pour down heavy and I thought when is this storm going to ever end so I drove back carefully slow,
With Mosaic emotions
Red,black,white,yellow, and violets in blooms-of oceans
I fell into sleep deprivation, dozing,
A lucid dream me holding,
My purple pen lays prostrate to his Royal soul magistrate
