God's Own"
Butterflies gently laid her 'pon God's throne
Quietly he spoke "My child you have come home"
Her tears glistening dew drops of dawn's glory
Settling her crimson consumed with worry
Glowing in his embrace her weary soul slept
Angels wept listening to the soft swell of breath
Meadowlark harmonies were never more sweet
Tasha found her resting place at God's feet
Waking from slumber she rose without pain
Pouring from her eyes a warm gentle rain
Showering the heavens in magnificent bliss
Granting every child...

with their years advancing
Born of understanding
through a love longstanding,
Old passions still raging
in spite of their aging.
Comfortably merging
to a voice still urging.
Years of multiplying
in memory flying,
'Their' time they are taking
to climax, no faking.

I Have A Dream
I have a dream
It’s more or less the same
As when I was a child
But had hardened in resolve after being bathed in endless pain.
It started on a whim
Just a spark in a blazing fire
I knew I wanted to help people
Yet I couldn’t quite pinpoint how to accomplish this desire.
Perhaps deep within our souls
There’s a hint of magic
Just waiting to be unleashed
And manage to stand out among the colourless pelagic.
The world will be my offering
There’s no limit to what I can do
In turn, the world has plenty to...

I had a conversation with my weeping heart
It turns out that I was wrong from the very start
I can’t believe what has happened
I can’t accept that this is the end.

Of this fantasy
It didn’t work out but at least let me dream
Of the possibility of me and you.

My Demons
Your judgement, I need not
as you gaze upon my face
you’ve never known my truth
or for what impact I brace
Burdens I have come to carry
are not for you to understand
you cannot comprehend
the heavy seas I manned
Seeing only weakness
from my scars of battle
although, I will assure you
I am not quick to rattle
Company not required
for me to venture on
strength in my resilience
long after you are gone
Walking alone with my demons
I have grown to know them well
I shall keep them...
