Global Deformation
Producing to stay alive
Steel and concrete
We’re slowly destroying
The outer space of our bodies
Exhausted, emptied from experiences
Rotted, leper
Organisms, hollow
Devastated by disease
Conventionally called
Civilization
Smaller and smaller
Sparks of consciousness
Deeper and deeper
Hypnosis of are so-called existence
Industry, which is destroying us
Toxic hands are tearing the flesh
Bloodshot thoughts
We are cutting with blunt steel
Of global deformation!

We Are Our Own Creation
I’m standing at the ground level of existence
Looking around at the ridges and mounds of persistence
The erosion of my depression has terra formed the mounts
I attempt to climb the levels between needs and wants
Each level is sow with a different version of my pain
From row to row I choose to reap me again and again
Calluses built, nails broken, as I climb between levels
At the base, life wasn’t acknowledged as I lied with the devil
But he had no use for humans and he screamed, “fuck earth”
Hahaha, he pissed on nothing, and asked me...

Maybe
There is no representation
for the Four-Footed
at any sovereign table;
neither is there a place
for the Feathered-Wing
to perch, void from bullet;
nor Finned-Fish to swim
free of baited hooks;
or, Earthen-Heartbeat
to drum her voice
Man considers himself
superior, but we are not
separate from Nature
One day we'll understand
that we occupy space
as everything in Creation
And, as everything in Creation
are just as susceptible
to...

Apocalyptic
You inspired me, Keith:
The wind blows in arid, dry and desolate lands.
The soil cries out for life, but there are only silent shadows.
Deserts expand, swallowing forests in agony.
At the end of the world, only cold dust remains.

Property Rights
Behavior marks us all as good or bad
with dissension evermore in the ranks
of any milieu that we've ever had
from the front lines to the national banks
with most of us opting for something nice
to showcase our variety of thought
and by considerations twice and thrice
we see common ground as a tiny plot
which serves the public as a litmus test
to show who is greedy and who is not
in the melee to see just what is best
in the public policies that we've got
and thereby we know that to privatize ...

Blades of Grass Tipped Wide
Blades of grass now tipped wide
stood a garden upped and died
bones of yesterday's memories
now winds for the silent butler
and a deserted old parking lot
with echoes from the asphalt
pulling up yams with age spots
for a reality taxidermy TV show
stood a garden upped and died

To My Gangster Queen
I'm looking for the
Gangster Queen to
help us get rid of
all the zombies that
are infecting our
world today we
need to create
a fair and equal
system for everyone
So my Gangster Queen
Ready to get to work
So we can both
create a
Fair and Honest
Loving Earth

too easy to blame the victorians ..
and the great stink of 1858
which emanated from the thames
and which led to improvements in sewage
disposal that shit has caught up
with us now .. ?

Gasoline Rainbows
Not everything that looks beautiful is charming
Some things are deadly when they appear to be picturesque
For in between what is natural and man made
There is a layer where our nature has become grotesque
With every mistake comes a consequence
But if we don’t learn from them then we seem to go in reverse
Because in tragedy some of us find artistry
When a verse is spilled for a universe killed it’s kind of perverse
When the hell will we learn? When it all burns?
Will it consume us in a baptism of polluted waters and fires?
How can...

A signal makes its way from deep space to their monitoring antenna. The message says a ship is on the way with a cargo manifest of robotic construction crews and urban planners. Rochelle’s heart sinks. Also in the message is a plan for the rapid conversion from a communal economy to a free market one. And so a few years down the line a multigenerational ecosystem habitat arrives in orbit around their planet. Jim convenes a council meeting to discuss the implications of these new settlers for their community.
