the Tao
Horton got it right
We are a mere speck
Of a speck
Of a speck, et cetera
We can’t begin to fathom
Why we can’t fathom
What we can’t fathom
A million miles up there
Does not even begin
To touch the surface
Of the surface
The sun and the moon
Barely (in)significant
In its course
No comparison, immeasurable
There are no boundary lines
It does not break nor bend
There is no pre-emptive design
There is no end
You have no answers
There is no end
We are a mere speck
Of a speck
Of a speck, et cetera
We can’t begin to fathom
Why we can’t fathom
What we can’t fathom
A million miles up there
Does not even begin

Eternity is a long time.
I hope there is no afterlife
At least none that lasts forever
Which is silly in itself as time is a human construct and so is forever and infinity.
First digression....damn I'll try and stay on topic.
I hope there is no afterlife
Where we get to spend forever with those we love.
Which is silly in itself as love is also a human construct .
Second digression....damn I'll try and stay on topic.
Three digressions and I'm out.
Some fabulous people I've met in my life.
Not least of them being...

From A Man From Earth
From Man To Mankind
I don't have wrath to vent on my foe
Arrogance and ignorance are shame i know
No one has to swell with what they own
Only poor spirits can feel down and low
My name is man, i am eternal god
Eternity, is for the Only one God
But, the time i am granted on earth
Is for good doing, for eternal Lord
Let me not pretend i am the master of all
Death and sickness make me cry and crawl
They make feel little, i kneel with fear and awe
Still am i poorly armed, before the death toll
But Nature has taught...
I don't have wrath to vent on my foe
Arrogance and ignorance are shame i know
No one has to swell with what they own

Exterminate the boomers
Here they come, feasting on the young
No hair, no care
Shuffling like a zombie
They don't care about the future
As long as we keep bowing to them
Wrinkled hands write the script
No choice but follow
Treat it like an edict
Greed is the motto of the sick
Cloaked by the model of their politics
The broken structures they erect
Built inequality incarnate
Time will cast them aside
But when?
The damage is done
Progress is no friend to them
Simply accumulate
There's no room to...
No hair, no care
Shuffling like a zombie
They don't care about the future
As long as we keep bowing to them
Wrinkled hands write the script

This Life
In spite of all the danger
Pray to the Heaven's above
Packed in life's container
What's the meaning of?
Applause the final curtain
Taking your final puff
Spectators serving sermons
All in the name of love
Pray to the Heaven's above
Packed in life's container
What's the meaning of?
Applause the final curtain
Taking your final puff
Spectators serving sermons
All in the name of love

Me Myself
I'm being me
As much as i can be
And cannot venture
In any other direction
No other expectation
Otherwise, what else
I simply cannot see
For now
And all eternity

The Agnostic’s Paradox: A Dialogue with Socrates
In a garden shaded, wise and deep,
Where silent thoughts like shadows creep,
A question echoed through the air,
What is truth, and who will care?
A stranger came with searching eyes,
A soul unmoored, lost in disguise,
And saw, in Socrates, a guide,
A sage who asked, but never lied.
“Tell me, great sage, what can you know?
Is there a truth that we can show?”
Socrates smiled, his eyes aglow,
“A question asked, yet more to go,
For truth is like the wind you feel,
Invisible, but it’s so real.
It moves us...
Where silent thoughts like shadows creep,
A question echoed through the air,
What is truth, and who will care?
A stranger came with searching eyes,
A soul unmoored, lost in disguise,
And saw, in Socrates, a guide,

Poetic Galleons - with Lilliputian
Like poetic galleons of white clouds
sailing in the sky as nature lies gazing
as if windblown bedouins were lost in blue
and over the horizon a font of heavenly hue
neath a willow dreaming on tides of a pillow
like distant stars of the blinking dawn
fluttering with dim beams stolen away
to lie hidden in depths lown and divined
from billows of memories lost in the mind
lulled to sleep in a mortuary by a cello
sailing in the sky as nature lies gazing
as if windblown bedouins were lost in blue
and over the horizon a font of heavenly hue
neath a willow dreaming on tides of a pillow

The Silent Cartographer
In the realm where shadows softly hum,
And silent whispers through dreams come,
A cartographer maps the soul’s great maze,
Charting the truth in moonlit haze.
A predator looms, fierce and wild,
The untamed fear of a guarded child.
Chased through woods of fractured thought,
By shadows of battles never fought.
An infant stirs, fragile and new,
The seed of beginnings breaking through.
Its cries echo with tender grace,
The yearning for love’s eternal face.
The faceless runner on twisted lanes,
Fleeing...

Chased through woods of fractured thought,

Imagination or Dreams
Imagination or dreams and illusions of souls in flight
and voices where they don't belong. Fairytales of
kings and queens and making wishes beyond our
reach, closing my eyes, and gleaning lessons from
poetry and books, and in silence, be whoever I want
to be.
