Where The Chowder Spilled
Life's little chowder only comes once
when the petals are wilting, initiated
by the omens, then fades to Glory,
taking with it the laughs into thin air
without even saying a whisper of breath,
letting go of the reins, then fading to Glory,
where the chowder spilled.

Confluence of Sounds
rhyme things with sounds
and so define verses
it's like shredding beads
without holding the rosary
pray to a lesser god
cry this shamelessness
take off shirt and pants
and throw yourself headlong
into the dishwasher
and swim between bubbles
undo certain meshes
fix some crashes
count veins in the leaves
sail like a caravel
to leeward puffy
rediscover universes
it's like lulling sleep
no hand in the crib
beg no forgiveness
with crocodile tears
take off hat and gloves...

Assumed berated, is moot elation, as loose containment construes abeyance.
Affluent basis consumes equation, to suit arrangement, obtuse, entangled.
Congruent angles, acute, convey an intruding wavelength from zoomed abrasion.
Abusive ways, and amused amazement entomb displacement unto evasion.
Confused abatement, alluded sentience, anew attainment come through, in patience.

my hands
that morning,
this very morning
my hands seemed calm,
even though
they wanted to jump
out into the open,
shout their independence,
sure, my hands
had nothing to say
at that very moment
but way deep down
in their soul,
they had everything to say,
to talk about the weather,
the day, any mundane
words that would drift
in and out
of their field of vision,
even if no one wanted to read
their words, they would post them
all for prosperity,
nothing fancy, the hands ...

Of smothering ovens, huts hunger for onions.
Come couple's conundrum, crumb's cupboard combusted.
Uncover the coven, and function is dungeons.
Lust, something accustomed, confronted, abducted.
Dust, double disgusting, runs troublesome junction.
Grudge governs dysfunction, love's comforting nothing.
Pudge-plundered, repugnant, was pucker, republic.
Some wonder, becoming blood-brothers, who wanted.
Puns muddled assumption, trust tussles, if tugging.
Once under resumption, stuff stumbles with others.
Punch-drunken at luncheons, hunch...
