The lie that Passive Means Weakness
Me: Minding my business as I drink with my friend and his friends in order to be supportive and get to know them.
Them: “Trump will save America”
Me: “Ok.” I take a sip and avoid the the tangents going on around me, but roll my eyes involuntarily as their never ending rants go on and on. It's not enough that I am silently enduring this abuse. I'm choosing not to speak on it. And yet …
Them: “Oh, looks like we got a feminist! I can guess, but, who are you voting for?” He knows, but needs the verbal confirmation to drive his point home.
Me: Kamala....

My "Ea" Series: Chapter II. The Ainur's Acoustic Adjustment
How could it possibly be conveyed
how gratitude of first breath thrilled;
eyes unlocked the soul's own faith
that itself slowly inspired revealed.
Coming into being for the first time.
Despite the homogenous past
where nothingness was entwined
with the Flame's immortal blast.
A bit of a pain, wasn't it?
To become a spark of a monad.
For birth would also permit
nostalgia of oblivion in God.
The first thought of the I AM,
a diamond descending double spirals,
while past's nothingness was... hm? ...

So, you think you know her and what’s more how to fix her too. A good kick up the arse and less victim mentality would be a start.
Thing is you haven’t a clue and the times she has used triple x super glue just to hold herself in place to stand in front of you or beside you or maybe a fraction behind you.
Funny thing is when she sees you, she doesn’t look in judgment but more a secret high five in solidarity and her words are always thoughtful and considerate.
Behind a face that smiles are also ones who had to fight either demons or life and possibly their own thoughts alone...

Patience running thin,
This beast within,
May just win.
A melting clock, refined
Into finer metal to find
In boxes, velvet lined,
Rich and fit for a king,
Unbeknownst, a corruption ring,
Of silver, and thorns, piercing,
Tainting pure fingers,
Leaving honest thoughts, that lingers,
Spilling truths, that poke like daggers.
My dreams reach the sky,
My mind flying high,
Thoughts that will never die.
My mind is at a low dark,
A walk through a dead park,
Anger, singing like a lark.
My dreams...
This beast within,
May just win.

Take the 9:59 train
Run four blocks in the rain
She's stunning, all dressed up for the party
Excitement’s in our eyes
It was worth it to make haste
I decide, as my eyes roam her face
Long awaited party
Edgy, eager eyes
I don't know this crowd
Try to talk, but it's just loud
Lonely at a packed party
Unfamiliar eyes
This is a game and I don't know how to play

Judgemental party
