my eyes (little windows)
my eyes,
little windows,
i can
see the
entire
body of
beautiful
attachments,
thoughts
right to
my desires,
the world
outside
modestly
shining.

Nature's Clarity
Gossamer tears of woodwinds and strings
archives of soul on wings echoing serenity
soft as magic of eternal Spring in noiseless
psalms sweet as cane in nature's philosophy
of symphony and musical clarity on "Sticky
Notes" salted with moonlit snow

all of the signals
i watch
all of
the signals
the hours
give, no
sadness,
no tangled
strange
ideas,
how subtle
when each
new day
arrives.

retribution
these storms
held back
by
the sun,
wanting
nothing more
than
to give
all of its
retribution,
where
nothing
is safe,
where
nothing
is pure,
taking the
comfort away
from
the masses,
and replace
it all
with fear.

Whisper Me _ with "Adagio"
Whisper me the soft winds of silence echoing pages
of autumn's breath in falling leaves
outside my window view.
The clouds sail in skies of curious blue, as if a
symphony of mysterious harps in torrents,
snowing its passion for clues.
Shrouding the white peaks of soaring mountains,
crowned in fairy veils, watching over
leafless trees in rue.
Embracing the tea of homily-steeping melancholy
beneath the linen of November, wailing lyrics past
due.

Natural Healing
I miss the park
The dragonflies flying across
the bullrushes, and water lillies
The beautiful array
Of a myriad butterflies
My heart, beats with their every wingbeat
Trees that stretch out so high
They could sweep the clouds away
The delight of seeing the Egyptian Geese
Watching the magic of their mating dance
Wings outstretched, upon the old bowling green
And myself only ten feet away from this display
I see this, and am transfixed, and enchanted
I remember saying that
"Who needs a doctor for well being
When you...

Gift of Bonsai
In nature's eye, the gift of bonsai
trimming the wind with sighs
of simplicity and harmony,
smiling with the art of knowing
intimacy of love that is invisible

Rescued By Butterflies
As the fairy lay floundering
Upon the sodden earth
Drowning
Then frowning
Glancing skywards
She witnessed what she thought
Was a swirling rainbow
Which began to hover all around her
As a multitude of butterflies
Of a myriad hues
Began to flap their wings
With such great energy
The fairiys' wings began to dry
And soon was able to fly
Caught within a soft, and silky Zephyr
As she pirouetted skywards
Into the sky, and beyond
Returning to that other place
Where the ethereals reside

Sneeze a Little
Of gossamer twine in metamorphosis
in the silence of a butterfly whispering,
"Sing to Me Willow," from the tree
In nature's serenity and fly with me
as soft winds sneeze a little breeze
in nature's symphony
in the silence of a butterfly whispering,
"Sing to Me Willow," from the tree
In nature's serenity and fly with me
as soft winds sneeze a little breeze
in nature's symphony

Salticidae
With the winter comes
cold gusts and snow
I sit at home and ponder
(before the window draft)
where the jumping spiders go
Perhaps they ride upon
the great blue-herons back
or dream a dream akin to mine
(of green beneath the folds of white)
from their silky silver flats.

Magical Winter
winter
fall leaves falling
quietness in the air
this is a winter wonderland
be still

light snowing
what
winter
garments
she wore,
how tender
a kiss, her
light snow,
over what
was
widespread
and revealing
beneath,
a confession,
expression,
slowly
recorded.
