I’m the lizard king
Don’t know anything
I creep in the crevices
Lost souls I know
I’m everything squared
Slime on a rock I was there
I’m a living thing
Can’t figure it out by myself
I’m the supreme being
Don’t know who I am
Cave dweller in a man cave
Slug on a sofa
I’m the Lizard King
Singing to the choir

Regurgitated Rumination
Remember that time
When we were happy?
The noise of the world
Could not stop us
Though they slapped us
With desperate warnings
We wrote them off
As jealous nothings
Together we broke
Molds and habits
At the end of the day
We did not give two shits
Discarded their sayings
Those stark warnings
Discounting every word
to live wholeheartedly
We ignored wisdom
Gave into delirium
To live our life of beauty
To live in hedonism
When we were happy?
The noise of the world
Could not stop us

I’m bombarded with everything and nothing at the same time
I’m bombarded with everything and nothing at the same time
Everybody wants something from me and I’m too fed up to reply
I hate that at these hard times I’m turning my back
And running away instead of facing it with pride
The moment I wanted to step out outside ,
I realized I have no one to share laugh
And I know I have no one to blame but myself
But I honestly get sicker and sicker each day

Not Like You
In the night, I feel complete,
Immersed in my unique world.
The darkness brings peace,
Free from the troubles of the day.
Yet, you wouldn't understand
That it's hard for me to blend in,
So I withdraw into the tranquility of solitude.
Since my virtue matters, so does my integrity--
I lament being crude, but I'm not like you.
But how can you expect me to lie?
When you know, I struggle just to simply get by.

“Waiting”
Waiting with insomnia,
My companion to the end.
Eyes closed, heart in pieces;
Too many to mend.
Racing thoughts, going so slow;
Dreams lost, couldn’t find my way.
Gave up long ago-
In supplication I pray.
A path with purpose;
A burden too great.
Dejected and hopeless
I carry this weight.
Unable to understand,
Or misunderstood.
Intention’s become blurred;
Beginning to question what’s good.
Half truths and trusting smiles;
Love laced with complete lies.
Spreading stain of deception
Bleeding before...

Trapped In Your Swollen Heart
Damaged.
Someone did you wrong.
Now we pay for it.
Shame to the one that did you wrong.
Shame on you for falling for it.
Over and over again.
You’re circling into your own tail.
A toxic circle of dizziness.
Good at times but can you come back?
Will you be trapped in the past?
The guy who hurt her the most she will forever love.
What did we do to pay this price?
What must be done to get what we deserve?
Someone did you wrong.
Now we pay for it.

In hindsight I wrote intuition in [ frustration ]
let me speak to be absolutely [ clear: ]
Don’t just listen for How in my [ words ]
listen close to What intellect is in its [ meaning ]

Pessimistic fool by nature or so it seems
Always waiting for the other shoe to drop
