A audience of one can be fun.
I lived with paint at home.
I lived with pain at school,
at the hands of insecure,insignificant fools,who knew the were nothing special.
Like them,life horrified me.
So I learned to buy inane material things.

HEAVY HEARTED
Two wrongs don't make a right am among survivors whose future wasn't bright,
It might be because we lost sight of what's right,
We passed through dark times the worst fight was searching for the light,
The nights chilly praying to my creator to help me hang tight,
But despite the quite prayers to extradite my karma I still shock in fright,
The night wasn't good but the mood was polite,
They judged the cover of my book with one look and threw spite,
It took a while for my potential to ignite,

MISUNDERSTOOD
As I hastily ponder the necessity of speech,
the redundancy of spoken words, each by each,
the answers given as so many times before,
the repetitiveness becomes hard to endure.
"I'm fine, how're you?" Robotic, knee-jerk answers,
meaningless words eating our words like cancer,
"Of course I love you" and "No you don't look fat,"
whispered nonsense gossip and loud chitchat.
Misunderstood, convoluted sentences hurt,
best to keep in silence and a civil war avert,
hidden meanings spoken and often...

Grin and Bear It
A family of four having a picnic is surprised,
When a hungry bear enters the camp site looking for food,
Approaching them so nonchalantly and pretty calm,
Right up to the table, impolitely and a bit rude.
The father then begins to grin nervously thinking,
“If I smile the bear will see I’m friendly and go away”
The bear thinks “showing teeth is a sign of aggression,
Now I’ll have to eat them all just like a buffet.”

Secrets buried in my backyard.
The boys and I;
Remain ready for tequila sunrise.
Fear not repentance.
Cannabis smoke is relentless.
Chopping up the guilt from my past.
Snorting it by the eighth & having a blast.
Alprazolam as a chaser;
Hospital departure with a pacemaker.
The truth is I’m a lost soul.
I negotiated my serenity for dope.
Slowly disintegrating till cremation.
Mouth foaming from intoxication.
From Los Angeles county to probation.
I’m always getting high, fuck...

A hard day’s work is shown in the hands
A hard day of activity is felt in the muscles
The radio, the tv, and whoever’s talking

My skin is violated by constant tapping

Equations of false perceptions
That equate to misconceptions
Cause miscommunications
That transition into weapons
The best protection is to question
Not formulations of calculations
Whose assumptions lead to divisions
Valuations of depreciation; in relations
This is the summation and conclusion
Of a conversation with introspection
Will it take separations via subtractions
In order for my peace to reach fruition
Life's full of tough decisions & deceptions

The quiet one .
It’s not in the words she says . It’s everything she doesn’t say. Her mind says yes tell it all but her heart reminds her to take the alternative route the one less traveled . Full of superfluous nouns and phrases but not one adjective and her pronouns are known as her the quiet one . It’s her in body but not in spirit. She hides in brief conversation and she knows all about the weather . significant growth,since birth, you've been destined to lead those.
Who you,have chosen to walk with you,on your designated journey.
Boys toys never appealed to you.
Girl's dolls helped you smile,through the trials and tribulations of your life.
This Christmas,your gonna buy a doll which your mum refused to purchase. Saying boys play with guns.
