You don't need to hide.
I wasn't hiding from you.
I let you do what you do.
It helps, if you're here too.
Ill help you out.
I have secrets to shout out.
Come hear the symphony,
Of me crying out loud.
I sit and brood.
Wishing you were here, too.
There's no privacy as you intrude.
With your calm, quiet attitude.
I find you like the truth.
Come out of hiding and introduce.
Your distance is abuse.
Don't cut me off of this noose.
I like to sway in the nude.
The weather decays as they view....
I wasn't hiding from you.
I let you do what you do.
It helps, if you're here too.
Ill help you out.
I have secrets to shout out.
Come hear the symphony,
Of me crying out loud.

hanging up
there was a rope
a hook
a neck
there was something floating
over the head
there was a rope attached to a hook
around the neck
there were feet
there was the white of the walls
oblivion!

Pay Day
I pray let me just fall asleep
I beg, let me dream when I sleep
The sun rises on top of my head and set on my feet
For pay day..
Am surely not too late
Am just roaming around the most strangest of a place
Holding in my both right and left palms an empty silver plate
I called this my fate
My deeds I have to pay
Take this to be what I wanna lay
On pay day..
Walk around run around always looking sideways
Even if I set my sight forward, I can clearly see both the sideways
Lord show me the way ...
I beg, let me dream when I sleep
The sun rises on top of my head and set on my feet
For pay day..

Putting You Away
The last tide of the day is going out
I guess it's a good time for our goodbye
even though you left hours ago
I waited, to watch the ocean follow you.
I knew, you had that kind of power
even if you didn't
Because you were looking away.
I walk the bartering line
where the waves recede from the sand
as several grains go with it
Thousands really, but who notices
from the millions left behind
Like my thoughts of you, like the love
that follows you
Maybe it will keep you safe.
I could never wish anything
but the...

Forgotten Man
He did something weird for a living.
Something to do with coin boxes in laundromats
He lived a short dirt path away from his mother,
two blocks at most.
He went there every night for dinner,
boasting that lately he had been walking there
instead of driving.
Mama don't cook nothin' without gravy on it
said the 45-year-old laundromat man.
He also told me
in our last conversation,
that he masturbated to hardcore porn before bed
Women being hurt.
He called it taking a Sominex.
By that point I was just...

Android Dreams of Electric Letters
A champagne pain painted the sky
In the opening of my eye, the dawn.
Electricity surged through my circuitry
Coming alive in my conception of the sun.
I did not understand.
I began to move, inspecting my hand
A buzzing sound vibrated in my being,
Information flooded with a demand
To comprehend, what I was seeing.
To understand what is seeing.
I knew I was being, but knew not, what is being,
Looking again to the sun, which vibrated
Rose orange, pulsated, my system awakening,
Some strange energetic force...

January
January's twilight horizon was a striking tangerine pink.
The cold brittle hours seem to turn agonizingly slow.
Soul searching with way too much time to think.
Frigid air preserves the stark milk white snow.
The sun and my heart struggle in their morning ascent.
The enigma of despair is disguised in many forms.
Questioning life where the road is unknown and bent.
Answers buried in the ravage of mental storms.
I imagine the soft warmth of spring sun on my face.
Hope prevails despite winter's brutal little death's. ...

Shape Shifter
I've inhabited many rooms
for varying lengths of time.
In each I learned
a new shape that fit,
and sometimes it felt like home
(until it didn't)
and the people felt like family
(until they didn't)
and the shape felt familiar
(until it just
didn't)
And I'd go through another door
by choice or by force
and learn another shape
in another room
and it would feel like home...
And another storm would come
and another wind would blow
and suck me out another window
into another room ...
for varying lengths of time.

and sometimes it felt like home

and so loud
yes, I was lazy, but also scared
working in the factory, everything and everyone seemed so hard
to remember it now

Why Bother
Why do I bother to ask
When they don’t want to give
I keep wearing a mask
Of content in order to silently live
Why do I bother to dream
That tomorrow is going to be okay
When tomorrow seems
To be like any other painful day
They tell me I have to be the one
To give from the bottom of the heart
Why do I have to be the Sun
When the Moon doesn’t want to take a part
I always hide behind a smile
I laugh to show the world that all is fine
When shadows dark...
When they don’t want to give
I keep wearing a mask
Of content in order to silently live
Why do I bother to dream
That tomorrow is going to be okay
When tomorrow seems
To be like any other painful day
They tell me I have to be the one
To give from the bottom of the heart
Why do I have to be the Sun
When the Moon doesn’t want to take a part

I laugh to show the world that all is fine

some days my fears are louder than my sanity
Your silence is so loud
I hear everything it has to say
but none of it's true
it's just my fear filling in the blanks
Just because I feel like a ghost
doesn't mean I want to be one
there is nothing beautiful
about being made of glass bones
everyone thinks they can see through
like my existence is obvious
yet irrelevant
You found my haunting place
and turned the lights on
and told me my shadow
wasn't my reflection
it was just science my imagination forgot
I thought you were magic ...
I hear everything it has to say
but none of it's true
it's just my fear filling in the blanks
Just because I feel like a ghost

Why?
When I see you cry,
I see an ocean
in your eyes,
drowning you from inside.
A tempest raging;
scarlet scarring your skies...
Heat of your pain
like a thick fog
damping your sight...
A silent scream
"O god why..."
I see an ocean
in your eyes,
drowning you from inside.
A tempest raging;
scarlet scarring your skies...
Heat of your pain
like a thick fog
damping your sight...
A silent scream
"O god why..."
