Immortalized: something beautiful inside.
I guess we all lapricons
Cashing the end of the rainbow
Hoping in the end we find our pot of gold
And though we grow old
And all our dreams are sold
But there's something in our souls
That longs for an happy end.
I guess we all fire flies
Flying through the dark
Hoping to find the light
that shines bright than our flickering tiny lights
And though some Sparks have gone dark
And we all carrying heavy and bruiced hearts
We never stop to search
Even if it means going through hell
But we never lose hope...

my cat is an asshole
most mornings
he wails a death wish
in my sleeping ear
is possessed by Shakespeare
as he rolls onto his back

Have you ever looked into someone’s eyes,
the window to their soul, or so they say,
and wondered,
“What the fuck goes on inside their head?”
Could their brain be rotting dead,
with buzzing flies feeding off
every leftover of their common sense?
Is there a Plankton behind the control board,
in charge of wicked acts,
carelessly bouncing from one button to another?
Did their gears come to a halt,
the burning wires of awareness ablaze
with fumes of empathy fading out?
Where has the light went off
from...

gossip begins then it brews
gets under your skin
there it festers
until you are swinging mad
and you're hurting the ones you confide in
from there it gets out of control
one word, two word, four
pretty soon you don't know how it started
but it's become a raging inferno
hurting those around you it spreads
from one person to the next
insidious greed it desires fodder
so the next person is scorched as it continues onward
the nature of it so cunning
you might think yourself immune
until it turns on you

The First Hundred thousand...
It'll be sixty year ago quite soon
that one idea sparked a million folk,
to pull together to put guys on the moon
such a feat could never be a joke,
as from that moon a human spoke
and a billion people listened
to a message, from a static sparked croak,
and in many eyes, I bet, tears glistened...
And now, today, there's another idea
to recruit one hundred thousand poll watchers,
under the guise of fair and free elections, here,
I must say fraud was bawled by the loser,
their loser status...
that one idea sparked a million folk,

On the Path
The truth of the heart is that it all ends',
the voice of a sage came quietly.
Or was it your own thoughts, locked far within yourself,
the childish need to affect rebellion
against an unfair scheme of life where all that lives will die
without a resurrection soon to grace?
The barn is empty, lashed by wind, and swaddled in blackness.
You sit inside and I come looking for you there,
to sit beside you in the cold and talk astrology, science,
belief, and other silhouettes that dance on hay bales.
We are two stalks of straw...

In every human nature something secret resides
righteousness and virtue have another side
like someone cheating but accuse another
deep inside self-disgust and unhappiness fester
there may be some who genuinely show
their true selves in every demeanour
there may be some planting judas kisses
on the cheeks of those they pledged a vow
playing their life like a charade
with masks to include some intrigue
palms together smiling with pride
for successful friends but jealousy writhe within
lips speak with kindness yet...
