Withdrawn
Built a foundation on a fault line
Temperamental bias stirs beneath
No substance dangles from the vine
Put the blade back in the sheath
When the walls tumbled down
It revealed a foolish arrogance
Under that smile lives a frown
A string-puppet born to dance
Rain pours from a dark sky
Drowning every seed planted
Promises built around a lie
Broken wishes never granted
When death comes to collect
Silence falls before the dawn
Time fades into disconnect
Existence of life withdrawn

A Wasteland of Emptiness
There is a wind blowing inside us, thru a wasteland of emptiness
Without the possibility of germinating to fulfill our potential
Our nothingness is an internal vacuum with an insatiable appetite
A black hole at our core, threatening to suck everything else in
Our lives are essentially hollow, lacking inner strength and vigor
We seem to have lost our insides somewhere
Our guts have been removed and discarded or lost
The void within gives a painful, drawn feeling to our faces
We know that we are doomed creatures, fighting hopelessly for...

my soul hurt, I could feel my brothers and sisters ache
it was like a constant pain that throbbed in the background
and I carry it year in and out
a heaviness of feeling that I could put down for a moment
then it was yoked to my soul again
every cut, every burn, callous words and injustices
when a being hurt I hurt with them
anxiety would build and the pressure would start
such a powerful feeling, being connected to these old souls
I bear their burden with them
never seeing their faces but knowing their pain intimately ...
it was like a constant pain that throbbed in the background

This is a place I never would have thought I could even go to. The asylum doors are bare. Their sanctuary smells and sounds never have washed off me. When ever I am ready, if and when this day arrives, promise me this do not take me here. Stay at my side, wash the cobwebs from the corners of my mouth and eyes. Do not dry my tears. Brave me with magma, make belief, stay, do not leave me, let me become an illusionist just once more. Coo me a dove right then right there!

It's true that in this life we may never truly know what someone else, is going through in there own personal life. FOR example we all have a moment of a want and need of a helping hand from time to time ⌚ For sure it cost you nothing to have a good heart ❤️ and even a deeper spiritual soul 🙏 to connect on a positive level of energy and strength and understanding. For we all need that equal level of the center of balance of life and love. ❤️ THAT will affect us in ways that we may never truly understand, but that's alright to need and want not that...

Bestirred by a radio app today,
reiterating the infamy date,
I recollected what my dad would say
about how that war affected our fate.
Sick, he had stayed home from Sunday school
where thusly by a broadcast he had heard
of the sneak attack on Yankee rule
and the international afterword...
which in a few short years saw him training
with artillery to use on Japan
when their empire was at last waning
along with their co-prosperity plan...
but Russian threats, and the atomic bomb,
had his odds increase for troth...
