I see you there, in the glass again,
Eyes like strangers, don’t know where you’ve been.
You don’t look at me; you just look through—
Who the hell am I talking to?
I try to smile, but it’s out of place,
You just stare with that same blank face.

It's time to revaluate
They say that as we get older we are supposed, to become more wiser to have learned, right from wrong. 🤔 But yet we continue, to make the same old habits become the norm, then asking ourselves what am I doing wrong. 🤨 WHY can't I find myself again within thyself the person, that I was before I changed from them to now. 🤔 Just wanting something better for my life, yet I'm still living in confusion and drama and chaos, 😮 putting my self esteem in a place that has been proven, it's not a mind game but it's I who keeps getting in the same old situations. Frosted Windows
He has no idea how hard I try.
Then when it's time to defend myself, this pain in my chest, this exhaustion, has no answer to give.
I can feel myself checking out.
Two loved ones dying of cancer, not enough determination to even make a sandwich.
I'm numb, I'm broken, I love just as deep, but defense mechanisms are massively protecting and hurting me at the same time.
This snow with the bright red Robin, she's fluttering about, ruffling her feathers as she picks from the assorted feed I throw out for them.
Yesterday I had doves, as I sip my coffee and stare out...

I die a thousand tiny deaths
Each time I hear his voice
Memories of how I waited in anticipation
My heart beating erratically

All the Queens are gone or dead
What was going through my head?
