I Want A Divorce!
What happened to you?
You use to have the biggest smile on your face
You would always seem so positive & optimistic about everything
You were my inspiration, my confidant, my friend, my lover
You made me strive to become what I am today
Do you remember, we had nothing?
We struggled terribly
Barely any money for bills, food or decent clothing
I grew the company from just me to having over 100 employees
We made it!
I was able to buy whatever we needed or wanted
We have three homes and enough money in the bank for the rest of our lives ...

Grief
I almost forgot that you were gone until I woke up and realized that I was now grown.
Your face, smile, all of your features were there.
I would’ve bet my life on that.
And there I was nothin but a child again racing to give you the biggest hug that I could make.
I would have never imagined that I would be sitting here dumbfounded.
Lead not to our own understanding, those are the words those men wrote in the Bible as they went about their day, reciting potential scriptures that they wanted to include in the Bible.
God doesn’t make any mistakes are the words...

I had a vision of her walking across heaven
Realizing this while in the pits of a fiery lake
My time’s broken it’s always half past eleven
On the night I committed that crucial mistake
Hell is designed to torment the human mind
By violating emotions that’ll never truly heal

Dear Father
Because I am always
Worrying too much about me
My Father
I also worry about my health
Constantly
I want to improve my health
I still go for my shot of ozanpike
Every Friday morning
I inject the ozanpike on my tummy
I am slowly getting used to it
Also every month I take my shoot
Of abilify on my hip
The ozampike cuts my appetite and keeps
My weight down
Yes father I am so fat still
I am dying to lose weight
AND I know it is harder to lose weight ...

If I could just hold you one last time
If I could just hear your voice again
Just to hear you say my name
Just to hold your hand as we watch the setting sun
The hands of the world reached out to you
But you were just somewhere else
We all tried to save you
But you were someone else
I want to cling to the old, familiar and the free
But when I reached for you it was no longer there for me
I can't remember a day when the news wasn't there
Knowing that your gone is our burden to bare
I only saw black that day

The Hand
I remember my 1st day of school
I was so nervous
She sat next to me
And started talking
Her voice soothed me
And made me feel comfortable
Then we had recess
And I got hurt
She reached out to help me up
That was the 1st time
She held my hand
And at that moment
I knew everything was going to be ok
We got a little older
And grew closer and closer
We went everywhere together
And shared every experience
Everywhere we went she held my hand
Her comfort reassured me constantly ...

Rain pounding pavement
Water rushes your senses
Caught up in the torrent
Little precious lost children
Can’t imagine the pain they’re going through
Finding human in the brush
Angels wings aren’t enough
On the road to my savior
Didn’t know it’d be this soon
Rain turns to a river
Taking away those I love
Can’t hold on tight enough
Get swept under my sins
Limbs of life go under
Day I want to forget
Scrub it from my memory

The true depths of selfishness
I had never touched
Until I met you
Never feeling its cuts,
I could never have knew
Just how bladed it was
Victim after victim, a gluttonous lust
Seeming to serve you all that you want
While feeding on your primal thoughts
Stripping the essence from all that you love
Instilling the eternal instinct of one
caught in the grip of sadness
I was dragged into a fiery realm
my tears white with phosphorus
Burning holes through my skin as they fell
These iron chains

I might push you away, but it’s easier to imagine that you will let me down than think you won’t.
My feelings won’t be hurt as much when the inevitable happens.
It’s a special kind of sadness and abandonment that builds these barriers, few people understand it and I’m glad of that.
A therapist said it’s called hyper independence and comes from neglect, how the behaviour stems from a lack of affection, security when a mind is young and developing.
Well meant I think but I can see from the look she gives me the only experience she has of this is from reading a book. ...
