And Sometimes It Rains
I've come to relish the moments I am sickly.
This is not to say that I enjoy being sick.
I think,
those are times when I feel the most I have felt.
That moment,
right after the bile hits the back of the bin.
I feel alive.
I feel real.
I am reminded that bad things are followed by good.
And all my thoughts,
And all my actions,
never mattered,
because they finally brought me here,
to this moment,
where I am curled up,
on the bathroom's tile floor,
the coolness battling the...

Listening all night to the rain.
He stays locked in his brain.
Echoes of memories, a sweet pain.
Dreams wave in a silent chain.
Through the window, droplets strain.
Time blurs, feeling half-insane.
Soft whispers in a distant lane.
His heartbeats, a quick refrain.
The night deepens, grave's domain.
Midnight shadows, emotions drain.
Lonely teardrops, nothing to gain.
Yet his image still remains.
Love’s melody, a haunting plane.
Bound by sorrow, love and bane.
His soul calls out in vain.

My Therapy
Went walking barefoot along the crowded beach, sun kissing my nose
Shuffling just beyond the water's reach
Sand sifting through my toes
Hiking the well-used trail alone, shaded by the tallest pine trees
Brings me to a peaceful state
Puts my racing mind at ease

Every grain of sand that filters through my hand
Every drop of water in this endless sea
Every blade of grass in this wilderness
They are my therapy
Every flower that hugs the road
Every hickory or ancient oak tree
They are my mental medicine ...

Fear and Love are sisters
They live across the hall
Love tells Fear to come and play
But Fear ignores her calls
Then one day Fear hears her sister
Scream help I’m about to fall
She runs and reaches out her hand
Eyes filling up with tears
Hold on I got you Love and I’ll always be right here
Fear and Love are sisters
And sometimes they will fight

Ignorance is bliss amongst the arrogant
Always coloring outside the proper lines
Seems every person has a different slant
Beautiful flowers covered by thorny vines
Never assume in a world painted with lies
It only complicates what seems to be real
Dark clouds cluster along pale blue skies
Peaceful hearts pray for all wounds to heal
Time is a prisoner to orchestrated violence
Watching as love struggles to break through

Better Days
And for the longest time I blamed myself,
For her faults and my faults and everything in between,
My unfaithful emotions and guilt didn’t let me sleep,
Until I found out the truth and then I was mad as hell.
And though I acted out of line with nothing but anger,
I wanted out, without any burden or consequence,
Even when her actions had fully spun out of control,
I was lost, crossed and scared.
Jaded and cheated, I wanted revenge,
But it wasn’t what I needed,
Retaliation only leads to a darker path,
Of wrath and rage and...

I have a suit malfunction sir
How did I get here, it's a bit of a blur?
I think I have a suit malfunction sir.
Made in sixty-five and has Paul on the name plate.
You only get one, so look after its mate.
Now I might have fallen out the odd tree.
Or dropped on my head a few times you see.
I've had a few sporting injuries and the odd stitch.
This could be the reason for why I twitch.
My body had a few bruises & strains.
Just one owner, but not everything remains.
The cabling to my server is very frayed.
Messages take ages an...
