The Death Child: Extreme Couples Counseling
- The Death Child: Extreme Couples Counseling -
Upon the slopes of the great mountain, lightning lashes and dark clouds rumbled, though there was no storm elsewhere. Below that massive peak, its' cliffs and crags, and the hills that led up to it all around, there lay a stretch of plains whereon two armies clashed. The sound of sword, ax, and spear on metal so resounded, and there was shouting and yelling among the folk so engaged. Unlike upon the mountain... there was no snow upon the plains, which were still touched by the sun and so spared the icy fate of the peak itself. The...

TRANSCENDENT OPEN HEART of RADIANT AWAKENED BEING (4-7-2011, 8:30am, Palm Springs, California)
soft white light
quietly fell
upon this still
facade
of my silent
unseen
blinded truth
long held
yet hid away
from myself
and all as well
upon within
the previously mute
now open
yielding surface
of this once
blank
clean white empty
page
i now unleash
these freely fallen
words upon
again
unveiled here now
in this brief
inner glimpses
neuro plastic passive
purge
just as they have
always done
since way back ...

No One Is Home
In these woods we dared to be
Though tales were told of tragedy
Of monsters hiding deep in woods
We shan't believe them no one should
Though we don't believe these tales
Could there be more beyond the trails?
Each tree we pass we trek deeper in woods
Down comes the rain and up go our hoods
With thunder and lightning our minds start to wander
Could there really be monsters way out yonder?
Now we're lost cant see our way back
We're frightened we may be under attack
Now running and leaping through trees and...

King Arthur and the Cauldron of the Goddess
- King Arthur and the Cauldron of the Goddess -
I shall in these words of verse, thus poetic in the form so woven thereof,
Now tell a tale that shall to certain ears seem to be most passing strange.
When ancient were the days, but never so ancient as what came before...
In the time when the birds of certain goddesses, flew in the skies above,
It was in those days when Glastonbury was an island, ere things changed.
Arthur was a king over the land, and sought to be lord over much more!

Finding our way back home
sunlight plays across the wings of a dragonfly,
shatters light in a thousands rays of laughter.
Mirth bubbles up from the well of my soul
With spirits set free,
I drift on the whispered breath of fate,
seeking the beating heart of faith,
finding our power
is belief in one another
I am in the trees,
I am sunlight,
playing tag across golden meadows.

Tangential travels; love's desolation
If I met you
on this journey
All aboard this train of thought
intertwining time
betwixt barren remoteness
explorers scouting out need
whistling discovery of secreted landscapes
Across desolate plains
windswept valleys;
where jackals wander
and vultures glide their
searching glides
We'd travel through
sleeping towns
where at the dead end of the day
dust swirls
curling apricot twirls
Sparks sending scatter
from greased...

The Feather
A rickety, ramshackle abode
Broken windows, bats in the loft
Dusty old spiders webs
Hang like spectres
And an old, now silent grandfather clock
Where time had passed it by
The floorboards creaked
As mice scuttled along
Holes in the roof
Had let the elements in
Recent rainfall
At least
Had washed away
Some of the dust
Yet deep down
An old corridor
Where walls hung empty
A small glow of light
Leaked out
From beneath a door
And the faint sound
Of scratching could be heard
As an old quill...

Pirate Irish Twins
It was always just the two of us
Just you and me, pirates in our dreams
Co- Captains on anything resembling a ship
Eating stolen bread and sweets
Homeless and running around the castle of dreams
Feral brats who fought and cut the world right back
Older sister and little brother always
They'd gimace when calling us irish twins
Cause we're not even a year apart
There's a scar across my nose from your hand
You have a scar on your cheek from mine
I never thought I'd stand here today
Holding the pieces of my soul because of you
We're...

The Sorcerer's Apprentice
Whilst my master sleeps his sleep of kings,
A moonless night cloaks spellbinding things.
Dawn will display death deceit and disaster,
For his apprentice shall become his master...
His locked Magic books were easy to unpick,
With beguiling night reads under candlestick.
Ungodly spells from times of ancient ages,
All stolen now from their well worn pages.
My dark deed done, the old fool lies slain,
An emerald fire spell to prolong his pain.
Rivals now my thorned wand will vanish,
Dismal death for many, others I'll banish. ...

To Much To Soon
Shadows moving across the sky, begin to cry
Soldiers marching up from Tartarus refusing to be denied
Atlas following order, told to drop the fucking sky
If it was not for Hercules everyone would surely had died
Man as you remember fucking won the last battle
With Hope on their side the Titans and Gods were shattered
But the immortals were down, they were never truly defeated
They sat back and watched as man realized the strength that was need
The strength needed to make decisions for yourself
To have a frame...
