- Oh! Couldn't swallow?
- But frogs are so tasty, appetizing, nutritious... oh!
- Also, it doesn't matter at all, I'm a princess...

Fairy Queen
Fairy queen
She takes to the sky
Look!
You might catch a glimpse..
She sleeps on a leaf
To catch her breath
Before dewdrops engulf
Her diminutive body
So sweet like rosebuds
Delicate like fine jewelry
The kind royalty wears
And she smiles
Not to boast in her beauty
But to calm the river
And summon spring
Small as she be
None can quite stop her
Many don’t dare
As if they know, she’s already won
She pauses.. she smirks…
They just don’t know
What magic power
The fairy...

Majestic Opening with Earthquakes

I Saw a Unicorn!
I swear I saw a unicorn,
When I went outside to play.
It was whiter than a snowflake,
And could talk just like me!
It had a single spiral horn,
That shone as bright as day.
But it would not let me take,
It's pretty horn away!
The unicorn raised such a fuss,
That the fairies came to rescue it.
They acted like I was a monster,
And took it away from me!
They only did what was just,
And off they went, away to flit.
Likely to some plot of theirs stir,
Where a child like me can't see!
But I swear I saw that...

Flowers Spin
Flowers spin and flowers fly!
If I can catch the petals as they go
Maybe they won't reach the sky,
If I can send them someplace I know.
Some land of magical let's pretend,
Where all their pretty colors never fade
And springtime never needs to end!
Isn't that why magic flowers were made?

If I throw them from the back porch
Will they take root and grow really tall?
Sorry that is not how real magic works.
Only in some land of let's pretend,
Where magic can actually do anything ...

Fairy Flight
On a day like no other, with a dim light in the sky,
A fairy child brought by his mother, comes to learn to fly.
She tends him to a clearing where all the wildflower grows,
Drops him onto the highest petal, and kissed him on the nose.
She told him, 'Be not afraid, my love, I'll catch you if you fall'.
Hoping this gave him confidence and he stood up very tall.
She called to him, 'Now crouch real low, and leap high into the sky!'

A bath in my head
Before you undo your hair
and retire to bed,
let me run you a bath
here in my head
A hot copper tub and crystal silky water
swirling above a circle of sapphire flame
a gentle passionate fire
the one and the same
through my eyes a fun little game
perfect soapy bubbles
tiny mopey glass globes of soapy pleasure
drift up on rosy scented streams
popping along with silver harps in measure
lovely songs melting away anything that troubles
you, my divine treasure
step in one dainty leg at a time ...

The Faeries
The faeries dance and swirl,
'Round and 'round they twirl,
Where they stop, they don't know,
Where they go, no one does know.
One by one they vanish,
Leaving a world to tarnish.
With their final goodbye,
No more to fly up in the sky,
Along the pleasant breeze,
To leave behind, the rain's rainbow,
Or to bask in the moon's glow.

A fading, dying light,
Leaving behind, this somber night.
Gone forever, a thought so sobering,
Happiness, a memory,...
