Dating
Dating fucking sucks
I wont find love unless i pay 13. bucks
And the idea of asking a girl out in person
Is my biggest fear
You would think it would start to be clear
Im not sure if im a 10 or a 1
I still cant tell if a girl likes me or just wants to poke fun
I wont pick up on A subtle hint
If you like me hit me with a brick
Atleast that pain wont stick
Unlike the pain of wondering if im ment to be alone
Maybe girls just dont like my tone
Or how i dress
Because it seems like i can never impress
Atleast girls look at me...

I've looked high and low
.......I've stopped looking altogether

There was the insecure boy
who wanted to change me because he
really needed to change himself
He enjoyed taking my heart, kick dropping
and propping it back on shelf ...

Cashier Girl
The city streets are lonely and antiseptic. I sit in a fast food joint, as the only patron amongst the menagerie of chairs and tables. My gaze through the glass windows takes in the cars outside with the shine of their headlights through the shadowy world. Their occupants seek a home in some shape or form.

Only a fool is blind to the difference between love and lust. I don’t think you ever loved me, I just satisfied your cravings.
See, I don’t want to just be your midnight snack or guilty pleasure. I want to be each meal; breakfast, lunch and dinner. I want to be the meal you planned on having last week, not the occasional surprise desire your sweet tooth requires. I am not an all-you-can-eat buffet, you can’t self-serve whenever you please. I want to be the meal you spend time preparing for, a delicacy....

Since day one you have done more to amaze me. Funny thing is day one I didn't know if you were going to be my type. So I brushed you off like he aint going last with his texting ass.

Hot day of Indian summer
We entered the movie theatre
We sat on our seats at the topmost corner
Everybody settled down as lights got dimmer
I placed my arm on her sleeveless shoulder
She bent towards me to move closer
My hand was waiting for theatre to get darker
Movie started and i held her arm tighter

a date that changes
I used to write poems with paper and pencil,
My letters made fancy by penmanship and stencil.
But now is the day of emails and text,
Leaving my mind feeling numb and perplexed.
Short stories I tried, and maybe one day a book
but when I sit down to write, I only get gobbledygook.
Rhyme, limerick and prose; some poetic words will I do -
to show what I feel, is not false, but is true.
Move with the times, no longer pen pals,
electronic mail is shared betwixt the guys and the gals.
Not delivered by post, no waiting for mail, ...
