In the Moment
Have you ever stopped to realize
That you were in a moment?
And enjoyed every second
Before that time was spent?
We always look back to whenever it was
With fond memories and regret,
That we miss that time period in our lives
Or place, or people that we’ve met.
Old friends in school years
Before we grew up and life changed us all.
Maybe a job we had or your first apartment,
When you were broke but you somehow always had a ball!
When you learned that hard lesson that was difficult to take,
But you know you needed.
Or...

weeps the dawn and the brotherhood of men
culted fascination between souls of the immortal realm
feigning loyalty, forgotten faith, stirs
rising up within me
stalwalt judgement and swayed truth
in sync with the alchemy of the moment
desire of the ancient way
one comes forth from the shadows
and I am beside myself with grief
hinder not the way with mischief
it is understood there is a chasm between us
our bond broken
a blood oath taken between brothers
lay waste over a woman
the womb did trouble ...

And it’s been a long ass week and I don’t know

how to show or where to put all of this
because stoicism
because my words fumble when

and typing helps me ground the

all this rambling is my way of trying to find the way
the route to metaphor
I feel more than i want

my oldest daughter rang me crying
her decisions have broken the links
