one year since my gender reassignment surgery
(To Myfanwy, Happy First Birthday!)
happy birthday beloved Myfanwy
happy birthday to you
today you are one years old
and still haven't had a screw!
hope you have a piece of birthday quake
i got you batteries in case
and a tube of some special gel
for use in a certain place
i would give you a kiss myself
but i fear my tongue wouldn't fit
but it may give you some pleasure
at just the thought of it!

Right about now we were
introduced
as the happily wedded couple
Mr & Mrs
Wow what a feeling
and in church no less!

When she first uttered those words
Out loud..in a crowd full of poets
Soul Soldier
Indeed I felt those weighted words
Egotistical yet introverted
