21 years.....

Right about now we were  
introduced  
as the happily wedded couple  
Mr & Mrs  
Wow what a feeling  
and in church no less!
(the grannies were happy about that lol )  
we knew it was going to be a wild ride  
Wild doesnt even explain it  
 
A ride we had to experience....  
young and in love  
ready to conquer the world  
together hand in hand  
 
Theres been some dark days within these 21 years  
rough child births  
kids needing specialists when born  
stress, mortgage, car payments, more stress  
losing my income to stay home and raise the kids  
chemical dependency issues  
death of family members  
marriage counseling  
cancer  
kids grew up, now they have stresses at 19 and 17  
what the fuck?  
 
However, at the end of each day  
no matter how hard  
Id never want it to be with anyone else  
We always made it  
blood sweat tears and a lot of booze  
we made it!

my "I hate pets, but let us 3 girls go rescue a kitten during covid so we could all interact as a family other than game night"
