Extraterrestrial
the Earth is a mystery so far away
a place to visit on some future day
spinning and twirling around the Sun
with species awaking again to become
celestial beings, beings of light
leaving the planet, exploring the night
discovering always and everywhere
the way to evolve is just breathe the air
rhythmic pulsations, watching each breath
thoughts dissipating 'til what is left -
consciousness rises to then float away
into the timeless, tomorrow's today -
Sirius rising, A, B and C
promising spiritual ecstasy

Alien Baggage
In a blood crush of all or nothing
the ghost of your dream flew in
stared at my fool in the mirror
and asked me where I'd been
The cruelest years were heartless
as I grew deaf to their call
and after so long apart
I felt I had no heart at all
So what is it you seek from me
in my desert of tears and dust

The water-well
There is near the houses a deep well
you can´t stick a bucket on a rope, much ropes were needed.
They used to hire a man usually the village idiot
to spend his life hauling up buckets of water.
Villagers believed the water came from the Yanjing river in China.
A man who had gone to school disagreed; it is a deep
underground river, he said. For this, he was disliked.
One day he fell down the well, but since it was not
man made and smooth a big stone sticking out saved him
from falling all the way down.

Feigned sleep with closed eyes....Rousing the empty sands of an hourglass, that has no more time. There was a tiny house near the main house built I think to house the elderly, but ended up being a place for old furniture, bits, and bobs.
There was a loft where we kids sat, made grand plans
of great daring, mostly in Africa.
Sometimes with the help of a few crates, we made a ship and set sail, Naturally, my friend whose mother worked in a cake shop and brought us day-old cakes, was the ship's captain.
The engineer, whose father had a shop that sold second
thing like shoes, trousers, and whatever, he, the father,

The creatures who rule us play hard
They mean to keep what they have
anyway they can
happily holding a pistol called war
to our heads
with a pitchfork of starvation
prodding our guts
and a year from now a new pandemic
to strangle our throats with dread
Lizards don't think like us
they only know the cold dollar logic
that drove them from their own dying world
the mantra of greed
that pushes them on to the next
When we slaves on Earth
have done our worst at their behest
