One night at the bar
A man minding his own business is sitting in a bar.
Enjoying some downtime after a hard days work.
Sometime later, a drunken, loud, brash man comes stumbling in.
He's causing a raucous all around him.
He sits his ass down right near the quiet man.
This drunk stunk of sweat and booze.
The drunk fuck turned to the quiet man and said, "What's your issue? Why do you look like that? Why do you look troubled?"
The quiet man said, "No issue, just minding my own business".
The drunk didn't like that answer and continued...

Vodka
Dulling lights of Soho’s Vodka Bar
grilled the ache in my throat,
exulted American and Japanese tourists
sipped their £10 shots, brewed by mice in Finland
or infused with taste of dying tortoise
My last stop before the station
devoured as chemical waste from a Polish factory,
bottle rattled against keys in my pocket
trouser seams were merely intravenous
Wandered lonely as a clown
o’er vales, kebab shops and rat-soaked alleys
which hosted hidden bottles
labelled ‘nothingness’ to ‘never’
London, you were a lady...

Possibly From Gulping Down Too Many Beers
Darlene woke naked and hungover.
She remembered Walter offering her a beer.
Afterwards, her mind went blank.

Real Reason Why She Invited Us To Her Party
Mila staggered into the kitchen.
She was totally naked and so hungover.
Mila saw Jim and Sharon.
They were naked and touching each other.
That caused Mila to cry big time.

Waking Up With More Than A Hangover
Mary woke and saw Ted.
Then, she discovered she was also naked.
Mary felt a painful head.

be there again, soon
used to write poems on beer mats
in the pub,
no one read them, of course,
but it passed an afternoon ..

Gary Must've Spiked The Punch
Holly, why are you naked?
Huh? Mom! What are you doing home?!
Finished my Philadelphia job early.
Hi. Are you Mark's mom?
No, I'm Holly's mom. And you are?
I'm Ben. Who is Holly?
She's who's naked like you!
Ah, no! Gary must've spiked the punch!
Sharon's brother, Mom. You remember?
I remember... and should've known!
He must've snuck bottles of Jack Daniel's!
Honest, Mom! I didn't know!
Relax, Holly. Just go get yourself dressed.
Okay, Mom. And thanks for being understanding.

I don’t like crowds
but I’m alright if they ignore me
overlook me or never bloody
saw me as anyone other than
that old bloke in the pub with
a book ..

That Depends On My Head
Good morning. You're feeling okay?
That depends on my head. Your name?
My name's Richard. What's yours?
My name's Nancy. Got the same friend?
Yes. Teri is who spiked the punch.
