I've been through
in the past few months
every lapse in gratitude
every war zone day
every tear filled night
every deceitful person
for every maddening frustration
every night of fitful sleep
every comfort
far out of reach
there's the abstract

of balance
equilibrium
hope
tangled in a fine gold chain
tiny two point font
whispers of joy
a paradigm shift
stuck between gears ...

The Light From Lu Bu's Bridge
Come meet me at the pillars
of Lu Bu's bridge, at dusk.
Through, and although, the crowd.
I will be distinguished,
by a torch held high.
A beacon for you, as unchanging
as it was once then.
During the expanse
of our separate journeys,
I met Father Time.
He called me up
several more steps
of his creaking porch.
Although I stepped back once,
perhaps twice, telling him
not that many just yet.
He said 'Then change'.
So I've traded my armor
for a mule.
My arrows are...

a new change
after you
left me,
moved
out
for the
final time,
it took
some
strength
but hurt

sorrow

Healed... Seen Through My Eyes
I am finally returning to my place of employment from a beautiful self-battle journey on 04-06-22
For the day of 02-08-22, that unfaithful day will always be the day that has changed my life, my way of thinking, and to be grateful to myself for making a full recovery.
I’ve heard God places no more on a person than they can bear. One hundred and twenty-three pounds of weight on a healing fractured injury, I had to test that Heavenly oath.
I have learned I am my own fate. The only person who speaks for me when I seemed I could not go...

Coconut Cream Cocktail Hour
Coconut Cream Cocktail Hour
A fleet of clouds gathers offshore
Like Spanish galleons
But crystal blue sky powder
Rules the beach with cool breezes
As days turn into years
And Cozumel coconut cream pie
Melts in my heart like memories in the afternoon
Of when I was young and foolhardy enough
To tempt fate
By swimming far out to sea
On cold windswept beachcombers
Of the Maine beach
Daring Poseidon to show his wrath
But was spared and thankfully lived to tell the tale
As the memory of Neptune’s mercy ...

Temporary Grave
In a Temporary Grave
Buried alive but
Don’t worry about me
I’m doing just fine
Got veins that vine
Getting ready to climb
Through soil and dirt
Bloom into a garden of verses
Cause throughout it all
Might as well grow
Into my own sense of style
I’ll be here for a while
Waiting on future sunrays
Of brilliant amber strings
Strong enough to melt
Everything I once felt
Through ice and pain
Bloom within freezing sleet and rain

You’re a devil running through heaven,
Left me tasting flames,
Ashes burned into my eyes.
Love blinded me so,

She Walks In Silence
She walks in silence, like a lapping wave
drowned in chastity and flooded with rave
holding dear and tight her very beauties
denying all her gems and rubies.
Her powers disabled under the spell
the flame in wouldn’t break out of its shell.
Tempted to trace a humming call of fate
allured but reluctant to take the bait.
The strings of her heart lost their pitch and tone
the clutches of mind hurting to the bone.
Untraceable are the paths to no end
unable to soul unself and ascend.
She walks in silence, like a gliding breeze ...
