Enchanted  Heart

Wise old trees
Whispering mysteries
Tiny  plant devas
Buzzing around wildflowers
Healing water of life
Flowing above gnarly roots
     In small cascades within
The magical forest of my heart

I roam the wilderness in my chest
     A willow basket
With little gifts in my hands
I feed the wildlife and
Leave gemstones for the fairies
I radiate loving kindness
Scooping of the abundance
Of my overflowing heart

All of a sudden
You cross my mind and
I smile blissfully
Neither a magic wand nor a spell
But loving you taught me how to
Love all of  God's creation
Unconditionally from the bottom
Of my enchanted heart
