THROUGH TIMES EVAPORATIVE HEALING TOUCH (time, date & place unknown?)
my heart my mind
my eyes
hold tears
they cannot yet release
express nor cry
long trapped beneath
my early childhood s
and adolescent s
now long passed
long lapsed
though somehow
still ongoing
haunted crumbled ruins
entombed in sleep
long buried and hid away
so deeply self compartmentalized
in subconscious paralysis
long frozen from some

it's a living
it's gotta be Monday 2.0
waking up to another cup of what the fuck
still seeing darkness through the bedroom window
and that damn alarm screaming insistently
rubbing my last ragged nerve until it's raw
I'm not ready to rise
another day
another punch of the clock
grinding through corporate mediocrity
this isn't who I used to be
but that was another life
better times
today I'm filling pockets for some other guy
twice a month scoring another tiny paycheck
but it pays my bills & they're good to me, in all...

upon this lovely january morn
a debut saltation for 2024
“I like the dreams of the future better than the history
of the past.”—Thomas Jefferson
upon this lovely january morn,
o how my heart, intrepid in its pulse,
keeps vigil, as the fledgling year is born,
while earth's nerves, in her afterbirth, convulse!
she sucks her first breath from the virgin wind

Empty.
Empty chair surrounded by such panoramic
beauty but you don’t see it . The steps to it are
insurmountable as grief is insidiously cunning and infiltrates with reminders of what was and not right beside you .
It has a viper like grip and you dangling from its jaws . It’s relentless in memories and it can’t allow you time out just to recollect your thoughts or peruse your surroundings.
It’s familiar but it’s not you feel old and tired to your bones trying to realise that you haven’t stopped breathing . It feels like it when you are cast out into the new and...

Faith looks Forward
There once was a woman
With a heart as pure as gold
She had beautiful eyes
A contagious laugh
And her smile was something to behold!
She went through life
Loving and naive
Fell in love with a man with tricks up his sleeve
He was drawn to her light
And to her pure energy
But in the end,
This “love” would be her undoing.
The man was void.
He could never have enough.
So she gave her all to him
In the name of love.
She couldn’t have known,
But she would never measure up, ...

2024
The year of twenty twenty-four is near
and with it comes a hope for better days.
A time to heal the wounds of yesteryear
and face the future in a brighter gaze
But what will be the challenges ahead?
What trials and tribulations will we face?
Will we be able to overcome the dread
that lingers from the past and leaves a trace?
In nineteen twenty-four, a year of change.
Two men of different fates and different lands:
One breathed his last, the other saw the light
one left a legacy, the other began his fight.

For MJ, my Melody was once my Joy
I, am angry.
And you know,
not all of us have the iron skin of the three hundred spartans who stood against the persian hordes all alone all on their own.
While you laugh and smile alongside your comrades there are those of us who scream ourselves to sleep at night,
wondering when the next bottle of pills
The next dose of drugs,
The next hateful word
will be thrown at us with a veiled contempt only we seem to be condemned to see.
And the thoughts that follow make me angry,
angry with the world and it’s kaleidoscope of colours and...

reign overthrown
I watched the words
unexpectedly appear on my screen
barely surpressing an internal sigh
I really shouldn't be surprised
because after all...
I was the one who walked...
but never blocked
unnecessary...I thought
debating momentarily...
...should I even reply
in the end I did
just to see where it went
and quickly discovered something unforeseen
I knew him...
...he no longer knows me...
...to be more specific...he never really did
having met me at a time in my life

The Green Forest By The Ancient Dolmen
It's a windy morning, and i am on burning embers for a hike uphill; a pine perfume wafting with the breeze, An October wind has left a motion over the rocky hills, trees in waltzing enchantment under the magic spell of Pan's Flute,a few locusts,is what remained from a long Summer,
skipping among the stems, and the weeds, with a joy that harbingers a very cold winter.Carpe Diem in Nature s' spirit
The pine forest ends where an open wide space is strewn with Dolmen, the past megalithic stones that exhale a prehistoric breath over the rocky hill; ...

the healing word
The practice of forgiveness is our most important contribution to
the healing of the world.”―Marianne Williamson
tether not thou the tender tongue
that tempers tears and thorns,
when tyrant terrors thrust their throng
at you and blow their horns.
delimit not the lisping lips
that lave the limping loins
of him defeated by eclipse

Two Unlikely Friends
Death and Life met in passing...
Life said "I have a question that needs asking"...
"Ask" said Death...
"How do you do it, taking souls?"...
"I do not choose the day nor the hour.."
"Sadly I'm given this destructive power.."
"I'm but a bridge between heaven and hell.."
"To them all I say is", "I bid thee farewell.."
"I couldn't do it" said Life...
"I'd lose my glow"...
"Giving life is all I know"... ...
