litte girl
talk to me little girl you've gone quiet
where do you hide when my soul can't find you
within my sacred sanctuary no one can harm you
death will not touch you I will take the pain on my back
soul child of time himself
forgive me sometimes I have to be fiersome
I will shield your eyes keeping the worst of it from you
you wonder where you came from
you are my soul's child
here are your birthcertificate and pictures of family
we are not from here
you will not be forced to take any one form
you will manifest where you like...

TRAVELING THE ROAD OF LOVE
When I first started on
the road to love I thought
the journey would be easy:
"Two hearts in FULL agreement."
NOT SO!
The road to love is paved
with ruts, potholes, and detours.
It is not a one-way, super highway
with no detours, it is not all
beautiful landscape; there
are back roads. From time to time
you stop to have a picnic in a
beautiful meadow or roadside park;
you run behind in arriving at
your destination and wonder is
the trouble worth it; your dreams
and wishes on the road to love
aren't...

An hour of administering impressant..
Follows the next with a depressant..
THE DEAD TELL NO TALES
Completing a consistent twenty four hour cycle..
A food chain?
Life or a food web cycle..
Call it..
By chance I survive by some miracle..
Know this, in what I do, I am being a hell of an actor..
Neither the act..
And fuck the fact..
This is a factor..
Persistent bipolar disorder..
Stranded in a land of...

The year of twenty twenty-four is near
and with it comes a hope for better days.
A time to heal the wounds of yesteryear
and face the future in a brighter gaze
But what will be the challenges ahead?
What trials and tribulations will we face?
Will we be able to overcome the dread
that lingers from the past and leaves a trace?
In nineteen twenty-four, a year of change.
Two men of different fates and different lands:
One breathed his last, the other saw the light
one left a legacy, the other began his fight.

and with it comes a hope for better days.
A time to heal the wounds of yesteryear

Giving thanks this holiday season
Some of you knew
Others didn’t
In early January 2024
I was diagnosed with having a/fib
Atrial Fibrillation
How could that be ?
I never felt the symptoms particularly
Yet it was
Blood thinners immediately prescribed
Other heart drugs too
Then
Complications from drugs
More doctors
Lots of tests
Terrible interrupted sleep
Peeing like no tomorrow
Then
I started to listen to my doctors
Also to myself
Decisions to be...

willful amnesia
how honest are we with ourselves
when the night howls
& memory lies behind our eyes
is it the heart & it's infinite capacity to forget
gaslighting us into believing we must have...
...what we desire
as if that worked out so well the last time
& truth is...
reality tastes better dipped in arsenic
going down...at any rate
it's the gut clawing crawl to the end that reminds us
too late to kick ourselves
or renege on the deal we made
to appease our desperate need
to cave...giving in
...like a...
