Carnal Satiation
I adore you and must see you
as time and my lust
cannot wait
or be contained,
let me ply my truth
in those hills I long to climb,
those mountains I yearn to mount
for I am a moth to your flame
burning brighter than any mothball
inflamed and ablaze,
desiring and aspiring
to add frosting
to your beautiful bran muffins
aching to start baking
as more than the yeast has already risen.
With skin silkier softer than
sweet sultry peanut butter
I am the jam too add with a bam
to make the exclaim goddamn,

Spring Jobs in Rockhollow
Spring jobs in Rockhollow
The pear blossoms, breathes, beside the apple and cherry,
strong and fertile and healthy, as Goldfinches
sink down onto the feeder, and the warbler reminds me
of my proximity to water.
The grass is cut
leaving long circular sections to hide the world of wildlife, and sways of forget me not
for pleasure.
The bonfire is moved, set and
lit so to add charcoal to the beds,
and borders, freshly weeded and dressed with chips.
The tool shed is emptied, reordered,
a list of the needed tools for the...

Safe
Exposed in light
defenceless hell
comfort in darkness
knowing it well
clutching the familiar
fearful of change
hiding in shadows
does much to estrange
basic survival
simply implies
not to be seen
maintain disguise
never abandoned
or rejected
play the right role
remain protected
safe from judgement
behind a veil
without attempt
I shall not fail
unnerved, anxious
actions weighed
what would I do
if I wasn't afraid?

Honouring Blade
Truly amazing
man’s best friend
unwavering loyalty
never to bend
exuberant welcome
upon coming home
full of spirit
when off on a roam
chasing rabbits
as he sleeps
laughs with his tail
never weeps
walks in the meadow
daily meditation
unblemished spirit
delivered salvation
offering more than expected
lessons on selflessness
with trust and integrity
teaching faithfulness
with age he grew achy
missing quality of life
laid down to rest ...

All About A Photograph
Our new home
has the most peacefull
garden
I have ever come accross;
nestled quietly
in the whisper
of the trees
the birds
dance
flirtatious
love ballads
at anyone who passes by
I find peace here.
Bought some steel
started a braai
A braai for the
non South African
reader
is
Making a fire
with wood and charcoal
and
burning
an animal on it
(dead animal)
[Okay, the flesh of a dead
animal]
it is normally ...

( a Sonnet )
The pinks of upper desert where I go,
The season slakes its thirst ‘ere mesa bleed.
When brash santanas barrel bending low,
To scorch and turn all into tumbleweed.
But come a blight the wind of colder days,
And raises twice the altitude of hush.
A hidden veil to bring a new moon phase,
This constellation arc of whisper’d rush.
And never was the nape of sky so deep,
From where I watch and see a universe.
To be all this and nevermore to sleep,
But dreams are how I’m able to traverse. ...

formule poésie érotique 23/30
A single kiss, my fever mitigate!
Let demons hold their bating cries ‘til dawn!
Embrace my saneless soul’s dire consecrate
Its iron brands, the poems that madness spawns.
I long for retribution found with you,
That shared release might find its heavens’ walls,
The rangeless peace, which silent, soul subdues.
That taste of you in sated wants enthrall.
For morning brings the twinge of mortal waste,
The fire that scorches all, that soul remits,...

Those who err follow the poets
Hey you there!
Yes you!
Why are you reading this when you could be succeeding?
Doctors of engineeringdo not want you to know this handy trick;
that reading poetry makes you live longer
it just feels like it
and can make you up to five times smarter
when increasing the reading amount by a factor of twenty
and make you irresistible
to catchy pun based advertisements
and even make you more potent
in family games of Scrabble.
You too could be making money through poetry
working in a book binding factory for minimum wage ...

Façade
From my own affliction, I may come to know yours
aware of what remains, behind closed doors
in solitude, we cling to our despair
donning a façade, others unaware
calm persona, hiding a tumultuous soul
reinforcing walls, shielding loss of control
burying our pain, shame, guilt and fear
protecting all those, who we hold dear
believing unloved, self-worth malformed
unable to trust, connection unformed
wearing our cladding, feigning strong
numbing our emotions as we move along

in solitude, we cling to our despair

The Battlefield They Call Life
Curiouser & Curiouser!
They're packed up
together with a
nappy bag
at 6 months
Dropped in an institution
where an unhappy loner
screams and shouts
at them
At 2 they're departed
to a new station
with louder
screaming
More shouting!
At 5 they're deported
to an environment
that consumes their
entire day
More rules
more regulations
Fifty wild
screaming bats
with pointy fingers
and bad breath
They're outcast
Un-cared for
Un-supported ...

ECLIPSE
(a Sonnet of betrayal from long ago)
I scan galactic coastlines that reckon,
Stretching endlessly through time warpage thus.
For how your pale crusades lull and beckon,
As I seek parallels in quietus.
While my own floats free near your fingertips
With each passing nano second's death knell,
Doub'ling the length from my scarified hips
Where a flaming phoenix once rose and fell.
There never were past lives serenity,
Since the way I think there are no seashores.
Nor siren song's echo’d meant so for me, ...

Above Rockhollow
A robin sits on the left side of the tree,
showered in blossom,
staring out across the lawn feeling
the changed wind
sweep across the setting,
low in the valley.
Crisp calls echo through the space,
telling stories to their winged friends and relatives
as I sit at the breakfast table, looking out, sipping overbrewed coffee
admiring the greenery, pondering my next job, making lists
and quickly
scratching them out
as my teething urchin
finishes another raspberry
and screams at me for more
like so many...
