Dear future husband
In realms of faith, where hearts entwine,
I envision us, a love divine.
Though we have not met, my soul can see,
A bond of Christ, you and me.
Our love will flourish, rooted deep,
In prayer and scripture, our hearts will keep.
We'll walk together, hand in hand,
Through life's joys and challenges, on holy ground we'll stand.
Our conversations, a sweet, sweet sound,
Will echo with laughter, tears, and hearts unbound.
We'll speak of Jesus, our hearts' desire,
And how His love, our love, will set on fire.

I love the way you smile, the way you laugh, and the way you dance.
I send you weekly flowers to rekindle an old romance.
I love when you text and when you make me take a second glance.
I love how reality has given me a second chance.
I love the possibilities and how life could eventually be.
I love to think at times, that you also think of me.
I love that you are happy and that this isn't just a dream.
But most of all I love, how you tend to make me feen.

Rewind
You can't say that I didn't try.
I gave you what I could.
I even let you have my mind.
Nights I prayed,
And days I use to fantasize.
I was mesmerized how I reflected in your eyes.
Plus I hate to mention,
All the little dirty things you would do for me.
Flowers just because.
Reminiscing on what once was.
Holding hands when we bent the block.
Late night smoke sessions.
And early morning pillow talks.
Sexing you above the sheets.
While the radio played slow beats.
I'd like to press rewind,
Just to find what we lost...

The love begins to poor

The pen ran dry, as all love seems.
The ink no longer pours, as it use to bleed.
Lead goes dull, and erasers fade.
But the words themselves, still cut like blades.
