Easter
Soon,the white rabbit will appear.
And Easter will make it here.
Chocolates will stock up the shelves.
And will chase away the Christmas elves.
I'll dye my egg blue.
Pink,orange,red.
The weather is perfect today.
And I can't wait to celebrate with family all day.
So take my hand and let me say.
That maybe,on a sunny day.
We will chase the dark thoughts away.
We will all celebrate this special day.
Let every child have a new toy.
Let it be happiness for any girl or boy.
We will dye the first egg red. ...

Adieu!
I saw the Easter sky today
Bring her rosy gold to the air
In her old fashioned, wholesome way,
At which I could not help but stare.
And be sure that glance was jaunty,
From the chill of the patio,
As the clouds behaved Bacchante
Amid the twilight evening glow,
For nature seemed to celebrate
Her standard seasonal status...

Working hard, all the live long day...

RHYMING EASTER GREETING
Happy Easter, one and all!
Join in the "He is risen!" call.
Out of the tomb He's standing tall;
The grave could be no prison wall.
The stone-roll angel did appal
The guarding soldiers. One and all
Did in a dead faint simply fall.
They lay loose as a crumbled wall.*
The babe laid in the manger stall
Is now the risen Lord of All.
We may shun or follow His call;
"You who follow shall not fall."
