Easter is a fabulous time of year
Spring is in the air
Sun shines bright
Flowers bloom
It's feeling fresh
But something isn't right
For someone is dying, lying on a cross
He is in hell and no one can help
He is carrying the burden
The weight of our sins
But with death comes life
A sense of beginning

the joy of the day remembered
palms pierced...open in welcome
we are invited into his love
on that day he bow his head
and heavens said it is finished
the third day he rose
they wept tears of love for the man
