A Deadly Town
In a place called Oak Ridge, Woodlands, Texas is the sacred temple...
The sacred place of peace and destruction.
Alia joins the masonic lodge despite what Christians think. Driving a sword.
Non people pleasing serum.
Armageddon has arrived. Stampede from Lion King 1 will happen.
And we all will die
The sacred place of peace and destruction.

The Issue of Blood
Drawing from dormant depths
Like excavating dry bones
I rise to speak of hope
Against the boast of self inflicted stones
When the heart beats guilt
In my shames acclaim to condemn
I remember that God is greater
As I reach out in desperation for the hem
Faith pulls on the power that flows through the garments of my Savior
Affliction likened unto this issue of my blood
Addiction unspoken drowns me in the turmoil of an isolated flood
When boasts my sins in silence
I suffer the weight of my own violence

A memory of a December
I
was
ABLE
to sit and
WONDER AT
THE LIGHTS ON
THE HUMONGOUS
PLASTIC TREE WITH
SHINY DECORS
I
was
happy

Reaching across this void
On the other side of a reality
Fractures in our perspectives
Brokenness from different points of view
Learning to see eye to eye
In this world of sight that is our blindness
The fight of faith is trained in these trials
As we sojourn on in this world of pain and prolonged miles
Mountains protrude and boast of their glory
But this is just the beginning of your recovery story
What the enemy intends for evil, God will turn to a testimony of truth
He is not the author of the affliction but a...

Identity
This thought
Is incredibly difficult,
See this as a reality;
Many of us fail
To embrace our identity,
As the beloved in God.
But becomes more solidified
In our lives when it is questioned.
This battle can seem artificially made
Because it is encrypted in our mind.
Our great perception
Is of great value to God,
Not what we make up in order
To get us by in life.
But this struggle for identity is real.
The battle in our minds,
Is a battle for our hearts.
It is placed in our hearts
Where the truth of...

For Christ’s Sake
How do we define this?
One man’s law is another man’s virtue
What’s the matter of our preference
What’s a matter of our politics
Where does it collide on the tracks?
Ethics and morality versus the philosophy of our own well being
Our comforts are megaphones for lies when indulgence takes the cake
Are we living for ourselves or does our worship embody our values for Christ’s sake?
Lost for the weight of issues what do I address
When it’s easier to point to someone else than gauge the damages of our own mess
Give me an...

who seeks and sees?
there’s much more of this that they don’t see,
each of these enjoys a unique design
i want them to know mine has that too
but who will!
this isn’t visible to the naked eye
no definitely not,
only its residue lingers on the surface.
surely one must seek and see
to understand its true wealth
is it hard to discover in me?
is there no one who will seek and see?
though, i know One who will.
He is seeking,
only He knows where to seek,
for it is He who hid this in the first place…

Judas
Take the poker out of the flame
Close the grate and
Suffocate the hypocrisy.
No one is innocent
In a theocracy
You’re Judas and I’m Judas.
Sin impregnates you
The betrayal is birthed
Blood stains and birthing pain
Cannot be erased from the earth
You’re Judas and I’m Judas
Point the fingers
Shift the blame
Avoid the mirror
We’re all the same
You’re Judas and I’m Judas
Burning in flames
Close the grate and
Suffocate the hypocrisy.

Mary
Mary did not weep or know distress
bur sang a song of joy
just after she was told
in Gabriel's address
she’d quicken soon
because she’d be
by spirit and by overshading power won
and give birth to in nine month’s time
the Most High’s holy son.
She did not feel thereby
herself undone
or that her “yes” to Gabriel
was costly or against her will
constrained.
Instead, she praised the Lord
with ringing words, refrains,
that signaled she was raptured,

beyond the darkness
BEYOND THE DARKNESS
They print lies
they tell lies
Lies are the opiate
Lies are the orgasm
Lies are the God
They make laws
to keep is down
They send news
to take us down
They send disease
to make us down
They like down
as they know the terrain
It feels dark
It looks dark
It must be dark
so easy
to be trapped
in the dark
just turn out
the light
The cross
like a black hole
sucked all the darkness
in
The cross
the ultimate truth ...

Wandering from Faith
How do I confess
that recently I sat in church
below a rainbow flag and hoped
that somehow God would now make sense?
I’m always journeying from faith,
am never quite there because
the dread hand of Creation looms
and testifies to me
that no Creator ever was,
it’s all just wind and rain, chaos.
But until I die there’ll be
a place in my heart for an English church
with that uniquely English air,
of understated sprays of dried flowers,
a calming light at old windows,
a stained pieta of the Lord
presented...
