When death chooses me ~ for my very special friend Flowergirl
When death chooses me
I shalt not stir nor falter
Upon these knees be
For mortal sin altar
Lord through these years
These ears of corn reap
In the dark rest these fears
Thy tears fall and sleep
There I lay upon a cloud
By white waters wash
Thy soul in a shroud
For the suffering and the loss
There he lays to rest
A knife wound scar
That brought this mercy test
And heaven's door ajar
When death chooses me
I shalt not stir nor falter
I shalt not stir nor falter
Upon these knees be
For mortal sin altar
Lord through these years
These ears of corn reap
In the dark rest these fears
Thy tears fall and sleep
There I lay upon a cloud
By white waters wash
Thy soul in a shroud
For the suffering and the loss
There he lays to rest
A knife wound scar
That brought this mercy test
And heaven's door ajar
When death chooses me
I shalt not stir nor falter
