The Nomad
The past decade and a half
has seen me move over sixty times.
A new home every three months
yet never staying long enough
to get a sense of home.
They’re just stop off points
in my ongoing journey through life.
I crave the comfort and security
yet my nomadic lifestyle
always seems to reign supreme.

Ah yes, I'm feeling it today. Woke up, wrote a couple of poems and then pumped out 1500 words for my book...and it's only 11AM. :)

S2 doesn't have the same flow as S1. Still I like this. I can relate too, though my moves were every year or so and for different reasons. It was strange after I got married and got the moving itch and couldn't leave anymore. lol

Thank you my sweet angel. I guess they don't have the same flow. To be honest, I didn't put much effort into this one. I wrote, posted, and was done. No editing. No real thought. I guess it's not bad considering those facts. :)
Yeah, it's weird when you get that itch and find yourself stuck. It's nice though when it does last a while. I think that in my whole life I have only made it a year in a place three times and one of them was as a child do that hardly counts.
