New song
With blackened heart, and corrupted mind,
I came to you in darkest time.
You picked me up, you made me whole,
you cleansed my mind, you cleansed my soul.
you filled my head with godly things.
Now my heart new songs it sings.
songs of grace, songs of power,
songs of love to you I shower.
I wrote this for God,
but I share it with you;
here's hoping you see,
Gods love shining through.

I'm trying so hard to break free of the old toxic world open my heart..let down my walls..forgive..breathe through the anger...I would do anything to feel worthy enough to walk in his path..but a life such as mine I just can't seem to get past....bless you and your warm words and for having the strength to just turn it all over to him...such courage

Why wander in the dark?
Why can't you simply see,
The victory in Christ
that's meant for you and me?
Thy sins they may be great,
thy ways they may be set,
but there's never been a person
who if Jesus they have met,
has ever gone on living,
the way they once were set.
I never changed for Christ,
Christ changed me,
Just ask him to do it
and you too shall see.
There's not a price to pay,
The gift of salvation is free,
for anyone who ask it,
Just try it and you'll see.
