ANTI-RAPE VERSE FOR MEN
If she says ‘No’, then just let her go
With good grace, not take it as a blow.
If the opposite sex you would attract,
A sentence for rape’s no pretty fact.
Men who on women don’t force their way
Remain free to love another day.

I realise the verse could be sung to that tune - you're more spot on than you may have thought.

If it is any comfort I feel like I am in a different country anytime I go to a southern state like North Carolina. I have been told while out eating by waitresses that they couldn't understand me because I have a "California accent". I didn't even know such a thing existed!

I do have one suggestion though.
"Men who on women don't force their way "
could also be written as so:"Men whom on women force not their way"

I was writing punchily for 2012, the insertion of a phrase that may have chimed better in Shakespeare's day would alter the tone. (To reverse a biblical expression, "Old wine in new wineskins".)
