Whirlwinds
Just when you think
the world is over,
it reinvents itself.
We make our dogmas
to bark at our fears.
We create our karma
to keep us all busy.
We work the dharma
to work at not working.
We have faith and beliefs
to be put in our place.
We intellectualize all things
only to be ruled by total insanity.
And every dance has a music
that is only heard by those who love.
Put away the last of all things
and lean into a wind: Rest.

I suppose in some ways its toughing up and forging on. Not pulling into a shell and hope it goes away.

And there is thinking ahead. somethings of course you just can't see coming. I do not like being blindsided. It hurts and it messes with my radar. I really feel like being ahead of the curve is the best thought....but if you can't be, surviving it is a great way to start the day!
