high is the sun
as waves swell
along the shore
rolls in the tide
she walks confident and strong
board in hand
the breeze kissing her face
the taste of salt on her lips
and the sand between her toes
she rides the waves
and wows the crowd
the sun bronzing her over
she sings a siren's song
