Demonic oppression
Shutting my thoughts, fighting the night time adrenaline
When a surge of sheer panic steered me to paralysis
The arrival excited me
For so long, I craved to be near feeling something
Oh finally! A break from the numbness and apathy
Then without a warning, the intensity escalated and attacked me
Full force, it drew me to confusion and self pity
Lower I went, completely dismayed
Desperation amplified, pushing me to opt for a handful of Vs
Oddly, the impossible occurred
A supreme force popped in my head
Not the curse of hell
Nor the promise of heaven
but God the omnipresent
I challenged the nonexistent ghost,
As I mock myself in silent
Voice a said it's Schizophrenia
Voice b warned me about aliens
I called on Him anyway, with doubt that He's there
I collapse from the fetal position
Fall on His embrace
Lose myself in hysteria
I cry, thankful for His grace
God is there, He cares
Just call on Him
When a surge of sheer panic steered me to paralysis
The arrival excited me
For so long, I craved to be near feeling something
Oh finally! A break from the numbness and apathy
Then without a warning, the intensity escalated and attacked me
Full force, it drew me to confusion and self pity
