why, like a bull in the arena

even after all your education
in psychology and sociology
in logic and biology
in mathematics and the bible
you still cant think
without reacting at my skin color?

do not tell me about history
for you and me were not born when it happened
have you wondered why
you call me a criminal in southern Africa
and unqualified elsewhere in the world?

and now i hear
you want to build a bridge
on which you can cross your culture
into my culture
into what you call
cross - culture communication

my friend,
is culture the cause of our fear
of ourselves?
