6:21

6:21,
an end to all their fun,
she's hiding behind the locked door,
she can't hear his foot steps any more.

6:22,
she sits still, can't think of what to do.
time ticks off the clock,
trying to pick the door lock.

6:23,
how could it be?
how did she miss the gun shot?
the tears that burn her face are hot.

6:24,
she doesn't want to live anymore,
his life fading away,
she can't find the words to say.

he's barely alive,
the slick revolver coated in his blood fits her hand perfectly,
pull the trigger..1.2.3.

6:26,
one last kiss.
shaky hands grip,
dhe tries but her hands slip.

6:27,
i love you deven,
she pulls the trigger, the deed is done,
they're both gone.

6:28,
the paramedics arrive a little to late...
