LOST
Destitute of vision, Cascading into confusion.
An enclosed passageway, Or an optical illusion.
Imprisoned by the darkness,
Fear becomes my new accomplice.
A sense of distress, which my eyes cannot see.
The thunderous beat of my heart,
Echoes vigorously, from deep within me.
Any and all clarity has now resigned,
My terror has me chained, lost in the binds.
Hysteria rises and draws near,
Accompanied by close friends; apprehension, panic, and fear.
Senses lost. Senses fall. All senses abandon me.
In the distance a brilliant glow appears.
Taunting me, as it laughs lightly and austere.
This light I am not meant to reach.
An exit that I simply cannot breach.
Lost so long ago. Now found.
The darkness has me for keeps...
