Backwards Little Family
An optimistic little child,
seeing only in two colors of black and white
too blinded to see the blotches of grey that grow while,
she closes her lids, her innocent eyes out of sight.
His large hands coming down for her own,
like a demons claws reaching for it's prey
His true colors are now shown,
on her knees and to their god did she pray.
Let me out! Out of this cage!
Years of this endless imprisonment
and for years did she rage,
He made her believe herself to be incompetent.
Freedom was a distant dream,
a figment of her imagination
delude herself, perhaps his evil doings are not what she deem,
sinister acts, an abomination.
If those many times were love,
then she'd fear to know what hate was
that feeling burning up inside her little body was of,
her anger and unspoken rage that was,
never allowed to be expressed,
for she was a good little girl and kept her mouth shut
kept in her sneers at his repulsive caress
the bile rising in her throat begging to be let out.
Oh how the man loved favoritism
she was the only one he wanted,
she place on a fake smile for him,
he was the evil that had her tainted,
how he adored his favorite little kin,
the weak, precious little five year old
each day he showered her in sin
each time she did what she was told.
They were none the wiser,
and he carried on with his game,
was her will to live that would rise her,
to keep fighting the bad man at his game.
The Porcelain Glass that was her soul,
broke to pieces before her eyes,
her shattered heart finally took it's toll,
and she laid down with, dead blank eyes.
He had his fill, and the cup now empty,
she can't help but cry at the irony
at how their eyes show such sympathy
what a backwards little family.
