Blind

Mammals, insects and even humans
are all brutally massacred.
Ostriches are poached,
birds and foxes hunted,
mankind raped and murdered.
All for some sick fucker's amusement.

Why's the world become like this?
Why are whales speared to death
and why are foxes shot?
Why are little girls locked up
and forced to make disgusting
sex videos with their step-dads?

Is the world that ludicrous?
Can nothing at all be done?
Or do we just not care enough
to pursue this sickly passion?

We know all this is going on
and yet we hate to hear it
and can't stand to think about it.
Cowards.

It's like some sort of compromise:
"if I look away, it doesn't truly happen."
But you know what?
If you're not the one causing the pain
you'd better watch out,
because eventually you will become the next victim.
