Skipping Stones
Sprawling across horizons of an abundant mind
No one can predict what visionaries you will find

Imagine all the peaceful loving people with pride
Beg from their knees, dreams carved open wide

Gone with the wind are secrets from another time
Mountains & rivers, a landscape projecting rhyme

Breathtaking it all in, begging for another tomorrow
Putting it in the past, every single scrap of sorrow

Grateful bones are digging through layers to China
Searching & scaling the earth for an ivory Messiah

Hiccuping mistakes each century & skipping stones
Breaking every chain attached to my shallow bones

Locked in the looking glass, eyes peer into midnight
Cold depression settles below flesh pale snow white

So many questions forgotten, can't you just answer?
Rage burrowed my insides a clinging lonely cancer

A deadly frozen kiss escapes through my idle breath
Dancing shadows upon tombstones speaking death
