My Blue
My blue is not melancholy....
Rather, it's cleansing, Muddy Waters.
My blue is not lonely....
It's solice, from the (tireless) multitude.
My blue is not angry....
Instead, rejuvenated calm.
My blue is rebellious....
As malcontent as it is hypocrite.
My blue is human....
As alive as my frailty.
My blue is Spiritual....
As loyal as faith.

I'm passionate about blues music. Often, it's associated with sadness. Here, I explore the exact opposite, in terms of the feelings it leaves me with. Additionally, I explore other stereotypes, associated with "feeling blue", & the ways in which we sometimes misread a situation or person.

I dig blues music also. Quite often I don’t feel it’s stereotypical sadness either.

Blue and the blues are both misunderstood. The best primary color and could we even say primary music. All music (except disco) have roots or connections to blues music. Gospel, slave songs - even the blowing of a horn in ancient festivals are connected. Opera, rap and classical. Just not disco.

I couldn't agree with you more. There's no musical sound more joyful to me, than a "blue note". Perhaps nothing more relatable, than a blue expression. Maybe nothing more human. Thank you so, for reading.
