Yes, poet's often feel like outsiders.
We feel too damn much and then what do you do with it ?
Art saved me a long time ago but even within this craft there is a certain loneliness.
But it is my journey, singular and otherwise...

Yes, I'm the same way.
I keep my circle of friends tight.
Trusting people is a long process and I'm careful with whom I share my inner sanctum.
That said I'm always searching for divine newcomers who share in our plight ...

This was a multi-process collage.  Took some thinking to get it where I wanted it to be.  I enjoy those challenges.

I'm sorry to say BK are not initials of anyone.
I cut up boxes delivered by Amazon and like to use them as backer boards for my collages.
Ultimate recycling..

It wasn't until I was older that I understood that an artist doesn't usually adhere to the regular schedules of a 9-5 job or a sleep cycle or normal routines. You eat when you're hungry, sleep when you're tired, drink, have sex, etc. etc, whether it's 3am or 1pm. Maybe it's the different aspects of the piece, the different moods, Boxhead peeking out from different windows.

As I wind down my working career my art life might be regenerating into that lifestyle again.
I look forward to it.
I've always been non-traditional even when assuming a traditional live/would situations.
