Mistakes can be deadly
He worked
He worked
He worked
and worked
He drank
He drank
He drank
and drank
His job wasn't to far from his home
He would walk home the same route every day
It wasn't the greatest neighborhood
Hobo's were always near the liquor store he would stop by each evening
He'd buy a bottle and have it finished by the time he arrived home
Trash littered the streets & sidewalks
He would always look down to see if any scratch-offs were thrown on the ground
Once he found a used scratch-off that had a 2 dollar winning
That made his day
One evening he got home and found that his key wasn't opening the front door
He went around the back and the same thing
His keys weren't working
He thought his wife changed all the locks
Instead, he met up with a bullet in his head from the homeowner who thought he was breaking & entering
His home address was 13 not 31
