sudden flash of hell fire
but what if it was simply
a decades long deterioration
of our principals and virtues
like one , lone flower
weeping silently on some
rocky mountain side
struggling to find the
sun

I think this is as apt an answer to The End as anything. What if it's just a lone nut dying in a sea of cell phones.
The flower on the mountain is fucking spectacular. It's haunting me. Just the perfect way to personify the death of society with something as undramatic as apathy.
